Problems with Product/Service I have rented from vinebrook since November 2019. Vinebrook homes is a terrible company to rent from! I rarely called them to fix anything because when I did call nothing was fixed. I called about a dry wall crack in kitchen. Maintenance came out to see if it was water damage determined no and boarded the wall up. Next call was a cracked pipe in basement. Billing/Collection Issues I was told from Vinebrook Home that we owe November rent fee. They had been contacted me via Text, Call & E-Mail. But we already moved out from the property. Our lease was done on 10/31/22, but they continued reaching out to me regarding November rent fee. Also, we did sign the lease agreement from SCUDO leasing office. Problems with Product/Service They have purchased the house next door to me and their fence needs to be repaired. The previous tenants had 6 dogs that constantly terrorized me and other residents because the dogs were able to escape through holes in the fence. Vinebrook Homes will not take responsibility and fix the fence because it's their property.
Problems with Product/Service Hi, I am filing a complaint because there is an issue with the moisture in the bathroom that is causing water to build up on the wall and it's running down the wall and causing the paint to drip and come off. My concern was also about our health because mold can grow as a result. It's now been 60 plus days and still no resolution. My initial maintenance request was submitted before July 13th. Problems with Product/Service Let me start off by saying that this is a very inconsiderate company to rent from! When I leased this home, I was 7 months pregnant. I ended having my baby 6 weeks early. I communicated this to the company. The intake service stated that everything would be okay, and they will not put me out. My family was reduced to 1 income due to my husband’s back injury which has led us to filing for disability which was denied but now we have an appeal awaiting a decision. Problems with Product/Service Sunday 13th, I had put in a service request to have AC unit fixed because it when out. They informed me that they would have someone out as soon as possible. We are in an excessive heat wave. Monday 14th, I left the house for the day to get things done and wait for a call for someone to come fix the AC unit. Problems with Product/Service Regarding a series of distressing issues that have left me and my family in an untenable situation. Since February 2022, when water damage occurred in our rented unit which was raw sewage, we have been grappling with a hazardous black mold infestation that VineBrook has consistently failed to address. Problems with Product/Service The property at **** ******* ******, Pittsburgh, 15204 is owned by Vinebrook Homes. It is rental unit. Wednesday, August 9 there were branches from a tree located in the corner of that property that came down on my property. The branches also pulled out the electric power line to the property at **** ******* ******. Duquesne Light came and restored the power to that property.
