Billing Issues In September of 2023, I received a $270 sewer bill from Vinebrook Homes. I was shocked as my sewer bills were always about $45/$55 a month. After inquiring about it, Vinebrook sent me the breakdown of charges for 6 months, and stated that they could not confirm why they didn't receive invoices earlier or monthly. Service or Repair Issues Multiple complaints have been filed to the housing company about flooding in the basement. Most recent was 4/1/2024. The basement floods every time it rains. Nothing has been done. The water goes under my dryer (the only place to hook to plug it in) and can cause either a fire or my dryer to be ruined. Paint is also peeling off the walls and mold is growing due too all the moisture. I have 2 little kids that live in the house with me.
Billing Issues I have entered into a lease agreement with vinebrook for 12 months. My lease doesn't expire until June 13th 2024 but I received an email for lease renewal just about a week ago so almost 3 months before my current lease is due to expire and it's only for 10 months. On top of that I feel forced because there are deadlines the lease has to be signed for so they don't even give time to consider all your options. Billing/Collection Issues I am a current Vinebrook resident and they wanted to be in charge of water and trash bills. I still have not received any trash bills after asking about them. Problems with Product/Service VINEBROOK HOMES LLC is the Business that has trends of Civil Rights Violations. Billing/Collection Issues Due to a very difficult hardship, an eviction was filed on me by VB. After a couple of weeks, I did come up with the money and was told through many emails that as long as I made my payment BEFORE the court date, I would be able to pay via the portal- which is easier for me to do. Billing/Collection Issues I reguested to transfer residency in October of 2023 due to someone/s trying to break into my house multiple times as well as when I was home. Problems with Product/Service On January 20,2024 the furnace went out in the home I’m renting from Vinebrook Homes. I am still without heat. No one is communicating properly with each other. Problems with Product/Service Vinebrook committed to providing utility services, including trash, water, and sewage. We signed our lease 12-28-23 and as of today, 1-22-24 NONE of the utilities have been set up and due to this our water has been shut off for our home.
