Problems with Product/Service I am not allowed to renew my lease when it expires on tomorrow. I was notified on 01/03/2022 by mail that renewal was not an option and consider this letter my 30 day notice. Allowing only 26 days to relocate with no prior warning or notifications. I was and am trying to comply and find new residency but no one at vinebrooks Homes is cooperating. I am current on rent up until this month. Billing/Collection Issues I started my lease with VBH on March 11th 2021. In the summer the AC went out, two weeks waiting. In fixing the unit the maintenance took the thermostat we had and replaced it with a cheaper one. In June we reported shifting foundation issues as our back door would not lock. We put in a ticket and flagged it as an emergency two days later the ticket was deleted. Put in another ticket only to wait for over a week to fix something that threatened our security. Problems with Product/Service I have been attempting to renew my lease since December. I was sent a link and I opted for the first option which was $1360/month is accepted before Dec 15. I accepted and was supposed to be sent a lease to sign. I never was sent the lease. A Jessica Kruse sent me an email requesting me to renew my lease. Problems with Product/Service I Have contacted Vinebrook on January 2nd. About my toilet backing up with sewage and flooding the home. They didn't respond or send anyone out until January 12th. The maintenance guy said he couldn't fix the problem and a plumbing company needs to come out. The plumbing company came out on the 13th. The company discovered the sewage line was blocked and said he needed the okay from Vinebrook to fix the problem. Vinebrook did not give him the okay to fix the problem. He left the home. Billing/Collection Issues FAILURE TO COMPLETE NECESSARY REPAIRS AFTER INSPECTION: although I have been a stable resident in the same rental house for ten years - house changed owners three times - Vinebrook was made aware of several items failing inspection & has DONE NOTHING. Vinebrook has not called me about repairing the failures, but they have requested a rent increase from CMHA, which was granted. Problems with Product/Service I received an email on the 12th of January 2022 from **** ******, Retention Specialist from Vinebrook Properties. In the email she stated that she had been trying to reach me, unsuccessfully, and would appreciate a call back. I emailed and called her back immediately but did not receive any return contact. Guarantee/Warranty Issues My husband and I are new and current residents of Vinebrook Homes. We moved in on January 14, 2022, did a walkthrough with our leasing agent here in Birmingham, Al and noticed there were a few things wrong with the home. First, we noticed that the home did not have any heat. The agent right there, placed a work order for us through their portal. We went a whole weekend and a day without heat in the home.
