Billing/Collection Issues A couple of years ago, after being displaced by the tornadoes in ******, ****, we started renting from vinebrook. In the time since, they have caused and refused to exterminate a bedbug problem, charged us 200$ over rental when we refused to renew our contract subsequently, and fixed nothing wholly or correctly until we finally put in notice and moved. Advertising/Sales Issues Vinebrook homes sent me to a debt collection agency for $2700 I'm and unsure of why. I paid all my rent every month and was moved out before the end of the lease. I also filled out the form stating I was not renewing my lease. I have never been able to get in contact with a single worker from this company I've only ever talked to a third party source. Advertising/Sales Issues I've been having issues with this Company and the utility charges. We came to an agreement in March, where I would pay the utilities directly, as Vinebrook homes put a note on my door stating they received a bill for 641.94, and if I didnt pay the balance, it would be cut off. Advertising/Sales Issues Vinebrook sends threatening emails before you've even missed a payment, they aren't helpful when you try to fix the problem. They send new fees every day so when you send them a money order with what you owe they send it back because they've already added more to it and refuse to take a partial payment even if what you sent was correct at the time of you sending it. Problems with Product/Service I have been renting a house from Vinebrook since January 2021. My lease is scheduled to be renewed this year. Advertising/Sales Issues About a month ago I was sent a lease renewal for me, my boyfriend, and my father. We had my father evicted and I was talking to vinebrook homes about it the entire time and told them when he left.
