My wife and I are probably not this business demographic, but we love this place. First, I love the online ordering and being able to chose your seat (and we have been able to sit in the super cosy recliners on several occasions.) I really like their food and beer selection. I also like how you don't have to print a receipt, just show them your phone with confirmation. I really like that there are not waiters moving around in the theatres, either. This is how I feel Austin is supposed to feel like. I can't explain it. I am an Austinite. Great movie selections & their menu is fabulous. Staff is chill, real and knowledgeable.
Found this little gem while vacationing in Austin on a rainy day. Loved the experience! The food was great, the drinks were fantastic and service was 5 star! The cocktail menu is super fun- can you really pass up a Ginger Rogers Rabbit, a Trainwreck or a Pineapple Express Margarita? And that popcorn, its a thing of amazement. So delicious. Great, great, great! The entire experience is superb, from the seats and sound to the food and drinks to the parking to everything. Nothing else you need to know on this one. It's top notch. Blows away Alamo.
Gosh, this place is so great. I wish they had one of these in every state. One of my two favorite movie places in town. They have sort of a nightclub (almost) vibe, and have a patio upstairs/outside where it is nice to take your glass of wine, look out over the balcony, and down the street at the twinkling lighted trees and Austin nightscape. Personal touch to the movies. Less of the Walmart feel you get with going to the bigger cinemas. Has food, drinks, and regular movie snacks. Will validate parking for 4 hours in the cinema deck. Seats are very comfortable. First row has a good view and big lounge chairs with a stool to get even more comfortable. Great size screen and sound. Only downfall is no military discount.
Very comfortable place to take in a movie. I love the bar area to enjoy food and drink before the show. Reserved seating is a huge plus as is being able to take a glass of wine into the show!
I came here for Sunday, Jan. 3 viewing of Brooklyn. This place offers a nice alternative to the Alamo. A modern, swanky place that serves food and drinks too. While I was there, I was reminded of the Europeaneaque-theaters I experienced in Melbourne. Here's the downside-- the staff suck.
