Absolutely terrible business being ran. Don't tell you when they are taking bloodwork (which costs $186) when doing a surgery consult for an ACL tear. I'm confused what bloodwork has to do with a surgery consultation, when the surgery isn't happening at their hospital. Second, their communication to their clients is non existent. One person told me that a consultation fee was only needed once, but then I was charged twice. Tried to be nice to them about the issue, but the "medical director" called and did not apologize for... read more

I took my boxer to them for a problem with his left leg. They told me that he had bilateral ACL tears in both legs. They wanted to do surgery on his right leg first telling me that it was the worst, but he was limping on his left. They try to pressure you into making a decision at that moment when you are still in shock from the results. I decided to go for a second opinion, and I was glad I did. It was his left leg that was the worst. If I would have had them do the surgery, they would have been doing the wrong leg, pl... read more

My cat was referred to VRC by my ordinary veterinarian that I've been taking my animals to for 10+ years. My cat was presenting with a tumor on her leg from a 3 year rabies vaccination & needed a possible amputation to save her life. She was only 3 years old. I took her to Dr. Sadinaga at VRC. He told my husband & myself that he would take x-rays & MRI scans to see if the cancer had spread. If it had, we would have to euthanize. If he found no metastasis then he would amputate the leg. I was told this was not a likely cancer... read more

DO NOT GO TO VRC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I brought my cat in with a limp tail. The vet NEVER addressed my concerns. When I asked her, "What do you think is wrong with his tail?," the reply was, "I don't know." I had to take him to Cat Hospital of Media where an x-ray was done and to Metropolitan Veterinary Hospital to have a neurologist diagnose the cat with disc disease. I requested the $170.00 consult fee to be refunded, and the head of VRC didn't believe that was wa... read more

Horrible place, keep your pet away. One lost toe that could have been something easy to cure, plus the vet guaranteed us nothing will happen, ended with the life of my pet thanks to the negligence of the vet giving the wrong amount of anesthesia. She was more concern about the fees than the life of my pet.

VRC was one of the emergency vets listed to call from my regular vet. After my one of two labs had her surgery after being spayed, she started leaking fluid and was bleeding and in pain. After bringing her down, they didn't want to muzzle her but rather sedate her to get a better look. After a couple hours I received a call that she was all done and that her stitches were intact and they only had to flush it out and glue the small hole that formed. After picking her up and $500 later and no meds for possible infection, sh... read more

If you love your 4 legged baby, don't bring them here. This place is so poorly run, from the front desk to the vets that work here. At the advice of my vet I made an appointment for an ultrasound for my dog. I had questioned the front desk prior to bringing my dog in as to whether he needs sedation. The front desk adamantly said that no sedation required. When an ultrasound is done, they just hold the dog. I found that rather odd, but assumed the front desk knew how the ultrasound was done. Right after the ultrasound,... read more

This is the most poorly run organization ever. We were referred here by Hope Veterinary Specialists and I will never come here again. I can't believe Hope would recommend them. Their staff is rude. The Dr. was nice but after she diagnosed my puppy she said she would have the nurse get his meds and we would be out of here in 10 minutes. Well it's an hour later and we are still here and have not seen the nurse.
