I am very unhappy with this office . Came in on emergency with my beloved pet who had no use of hind legs , sadly we lost her that day . When i called a few hours later to ask if i could bring my own supplies up to get her a foot print , i was given the run around and also asked if i wanted to purchase the paw print . The reception was not helpful at all . She got a Dr . On the line for me , who was confused as to why she got him and didn't handle it herself . I was put on hold again from dr to reception , but they never pic... read more

Notice that Joe only responds to the positive comments. Probably because there are fewer of these. These doctors provide no continuum of care and are rude and disrespectful to the owners. What pains me is that all of you that are writing negative reviews, you MUST report this conduct to the PA state veterinary board.

I'm so disgusted with this place. I don't doubt the services are at least adequate, but the emphasis on cash-flow is off-putting in the extreme. My dog is a senior rescue with a lot of health issues. Recently, I took her to VRC Malvern because she had been breathing heavily and seemed to be having trouble getting comfortable. I knew she had a heart murmur that had become a bit worse over the past year, so I called VRC for an appointment. There were no cardiology appointments available for months, so the only option was to co... read more

My fiancé and I took our cat here and were completely dissatisfied with the service provided. A simple request for an itemized bill was met with frustration, confusion, and untrustworthy information. Both the billing department and the doctors were unprofessional and rude. They were condescending to my fiancé and I have to wonder if me, a man, would have been met with the same level of unprofessionalism and condescension. For example, the fees for professional services were not clearly explained in advance of billing whi... read more

First off I will say that our dog did receive great care and made it home to us. One of the Nurses was one of the most compassionate people we have met But, they have very poor communication on costs, we got initial estimate and agreed, the pup had complications and needed to increase, and we agreed. We asked them to reach out to our normal vet because of a chronic issue, and although they said they would they never did. 4 days later we got a call and were now a $3500 dollars over the amount from the second estimate, and ... read more

I do not recommend VRC. I believe they are not looking out for the best interest of our pets, instead looking out for their pocket books. They will tell you your pets needs surgery (no matter what) instead of informing you of a less expensive procedure. If you suspect ACL/CCL tear you can get a custom made brace for a significant lower price about 75% less of the cost of surgery. Please visit Mypetsbrace.com instead of these rip offs. They let my dog go undiagnosed for two weeks. Sent her home with pain meds that made sick... read more

Incompetent and overpriced! Money is all they care about and lots of it. They will keep your pet until you give them your credit card first. Don't expect them to return calls or save your pet because the emergency care is useless and does basically nothing. Once they let your pet die they will pretend like their incompetence was never their fault. Take your pet anywhere but here. Covid has just given them an excuse for being worse than they already are. Now they can hide behind phone calls that they don't feel like answering... read more

This is a review on VRC. We brought our dog Mac as a referral on 9/14/20 for an MRI. Mac had stopped walking and after going to several vets we finally went to Carlos Hodges DVM and we're referred to VRC. We arrived at 8:05am on 9/14. We never signed any paperwork for Mac. We didn't get any updates until 3:36 despite calling several times, however other people were updated. They even brought water out to other pets and were very accommodating to others. The only paperwork that was signed was for payment of the bill. Mac was ... read more

Hi I was recommended to this vet from the health center for my 1 year old cat because he was running a high fever and dehydrated. My wife and I went there and from the door they were ALL rude and unprofessional! My cat was sick and they had no heart or compassion. They quoted a high end of $2500 for his care to admit him and do X-rays and lab work and told me I had to pay half of the high end up front. I wasn't in the position to do that and they recommended scratch pay and care credit or basically told me if I couldn't affo... read more
