My wife and I spent our 5 year anniversary at WA Frost & Co. and had a wonderful time & meal. We knew with in the first five minutes after looking at the menu what we were both going to order. Our meal started off with this truffle mushroom soup which is to die for. Then off to the trout, pork belly, and beef.... we decided to go with the wine pairing and enjoyed the tastes pairing with the food. It was great to see the taste pop within your mouth. Overall we had a wonderful time. Thank you WA Frost and Chef Wyatt for wonder... read more

We dined with friends and enjoyed our meals immensely. I have to say, the Torchio Pasta was to die for. I had a little bit left and decided I had to take it home because I didn't want to waste ANY of it! Perfect atmosphere, impeccable service, great food - what more could you ask for?

The atmosphere was historically gorgeous; beautiful antique tin ceilings and wainscoting, fireplaces, vintage furnishings, and lovely art work. It was a joy to walk through and sit in the restaurant. The entrees were great. My char grilled steak, mascarpone polenta, and roasted carrots were perfect. My husbands oyster po'boy and mushroom soup were delicious. The wine (the waiter suggested Chateau La Fleur Plaisance, Montagne Saint-Émilion) turned out to be well worth the $11.00 a glass. It was great with the steak. Our only ... read more

I've only been here for lunch, but have taken my dad who is a definite food snob and he's loved it. This time took the family and all we're impressed by the setting, service and food. The only thing that did not live up to expectations was. My husband's oyster po'boy, but that's what you get for ordering oysters in Minnesota! Scotch/whiskey selection was outstanding, service was great and the rest of our dishes were delightful. Plus, at least for lunch, the prices were great, pretty close to a Champp's with twice the quality... read more

The food was great. Really appreciated the micro entrees. Allows you to explore more of the menu and leave without feeling like you overate with a surprisingly modest tab. Having never been to this restaurant I came in with some expectations, and one of those was the over the top attentive service you come to expect from a place with WA Frost's reputation. The gal we had was very polite and friendly, not the least be rude, but it took her over ten minutes to come take our order. (I broke out the timer on my phone after start... read more

Historic site. Full of energy. Great menu options. Did 2 different tastings, one with wine. Really hit the mark on creativity and portions. Was packed with fires roaring while snow came down outside. Just home run in my book.

Beautifully unique and we loved the "real" wood fires and cheerful service. However, you are paying for this atmosphere because the actual servicing size is petite at best and will include some odd flavors.

Table service was excellent! Our waitress was cheerful and informative. For us, in this weather, having valet parking available makes or breaks the experience and this service was prompt and courteous...and also inexpensive. If we had anything to say badly about our dining experience, it would have been that our table location was a bit on the cold side, but such is the nature of the building I believe.
