This review is for RACHEL in the grooming department! We had our Aussie Doodle groomed on her last stay at Wag and Rachel graciously came in on her day off to accommodate me (wanting a very experienced groomer for our Doodle, if you know, you know ;-). Nova loves wag! She's been coming here for the past couple years 3x a week! She's always super excited as we're heading inside the parking garage. I love that they have cameras so you can watch your fur baby play. And the best part of all is they always have fun weekly activities planned for the pups. They also even have them do some fun art projects for you to bring home

UPDATE: Improved to 3 stars (5 for manager Kayla's transparency, acknowledgement, plans for future prevention methods and refund. 1 star for stay experience). The site manager Kayla was very forthcoming and understanding. She offered a full refund for the stay and a good plan moving forward. We needed to board our two little dogs for a few days while engaged in business in the Bay Area. The Oakland site met our needs and our dogs clearly approved. Staff were pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful. It's a beautiful place. Clean, nicely designed and maintained. We had a great experience. I highly recommend these folks. They run a fine business. The doggies both agree.

Hey you guys! If you want someone or company to love on your dog THIS IS THE PLACE! 1. Eployees on point 2. The love they have for all dogs amazing. For people who have pit bulls, bully's and dogs who enter act with humans only this is the place get the special care package. If I tell you my pit bull was well taken care. Just picked up my baby Ollie, he was groomed by Rachel. Such a fantastic job! I was very worried as Ollie is a rescue, this is my first time having him groomed. I actually was just dropping him off for daycare, but I saw how gentle Rachel was with the pup she was currently grooming I decided to give it a shot. She listened to my concerns about this being his first time and his issues being scared having had one eye removed. I cried tears of joy when my baby came out. Definitely see Rachel for all your grooming needs!

Wag Hotel was so good to our black lab puppy, Echo! Echo had the time of her life playing in the doggy pool with all the other big pups. Echo has a ton of energy and the team handled her well. Will go back again!

I posted this on google and I am also posting it here. I have nothing bad to say about Wag Hotels. I have been taking my dog to the Oakland location for 5 months and we are so happy with our experience. They treat my dog with such care and love. We have done all day play, day stay, and boarding. We currently keep our pup in the day stay and does play groups. All of the staff are so kind and friendly. They love my dog like I do. Great haircut, solid price, easy drop off/ pick up, everyone was friendly. They did seem to nip my dog under his eye but it doesn't seem too serious. I just wished they acknowledged it.
