I've been taking my dog here for more than two years and always love how Rachel (the groomer) cuts my dogs hair. She already knows how to groom my dog after coming here frequently and I trust her. If you're looking for a clean, reliable and talented groomer I recommend Rachel.

I have been bringing my two doodles to Wag to be groomed, boarded, and for doggy daycare their whole lives. (Okay, they're only 6 and 4 years, but still.) I love everybody at Wag and have never had a complaint about their services. Despite the groomer being like the canine equivalent to going to the doctor/dentist, my dogs truly adore Rachel. We take our dog to Wag for both boarding and grooming and highly recommend the facility. Rachel has groomed our dog Harley and is outstanding. Her cut is always great and as requested and most importantly our dog is happy there!

This is the only place in the Bay Area where I will get my dog groomed. RACHEL is amazing and great with my maltepoo. After her spa sessions he comes out looking great and with showstopper cut and smelling lovely. Thanks Rachel for giving my dog a great experience every time over the last 3 years.

We take our Tobi exclusively to Wag Hotel Oakland for his grooming. Their groomer Rachel L. Is the best! She is patient and loving with our grumpy little guy and he absolutely loves her. She does an amazing job every single time. When we drive up- his tail is wagging and Tobi can't wait to jump out of the car and see his buddy Rachel. The entire staff there is so kind. I took my senior dog there the first time in December 2025, they forgot to feed him so he went all day without eating. he threw up in the evening when we got home. Then I was in need of a couple of hours the other day because they offered me two free days when I signed up so I used my second free day and they ended up charging me. I don't think I'll be going there again at least to Oakland.

Not for cats I should have known from the marketing but while it is possible to room a cat here, this place and its employees clearly cater to dogs exclusively. My cat refused to eat or drink, or even come out of her carrier the entire time she was here (as I watched the whole time on the provided camera stream) and yet Wag kept sending me these emails like YOUR PET IS SO HAPPY, SHE'S DREAMING OF TREATS!!!!1! the whole time. I left my dog her over Thanksgiving for 4 days. When I got her back I got her back with 2 days worth of dog food. They did not feed my dog according to the instructions I verbally gave them at the front desk when they asked about feeding. When I got my dog back she stunk so much!!!
