Get directionsI've been taking my dog here for more than two years and always love how Rachel (the groomer) cuts my dogs hair. She already knows how to groom my dog after coming here frequently and I trust her. If you're looking for a clean, reliable and talented groomer I recommend Rachel.
Business response:
Hello Val. Thank you for bringing Dina to us. She looks so cute with her new doo! We can't wait to see her again!
I have been bringing my two doodles to Wag to be groomed, boarded, and for doggy daycare their whole lives. (Okay, they're only 6 and 4 years, but still.) I love everybody at Wag and have never had a complaint about their services. Despite the groomer being like the canine equivalent to going to the doctor/dentist, my dogs truly adore Rachel. They run to her to greet her even though it means seeing her may lead to a bath, cut, nail clip, ear cleaning, and anal gland expression(!). Both dogs look gorgeous every time Rac... read more

Hello Melissa, We adore Brewfus and Fuggles! Look how adorable they look after their spa day! Thank you for the kind words. We hope to see the pups again soon!
my dog is the most happy baby in wag hotel he knows when I said lest go to the daycare, is so exited and I am relaxed knowing he's in a good care.
Business response:
Hello Regina, We are so glad your pup enjoys it here. We can't wait to see him again!
We take our dog to Wag for both boarding and grooming and highly recommend the facility. Rachel has groomed our dog Harley and is outstanding. Her cut is always great and as requested and most importantly our dog is happy there!
Business response:
Hi Kim! Thank you for trusting us with Harley for both overnight care and grooming. Rachel takes a lot of pride in her grooming, we appreciate you noting her work. We are delighted to hear that Harley comes home happy. We look forward to seeing you both again, soon!
Shame on you Wag Hotel! I scheduled boarding for my dog Hans at your facility back on 1/28 in preparation for a trip to Japan on May 3 - 8, which you accepted on 1/31. However, when we arrived at your facility on May 2nd, the day before my flight to Japan, your front desk staff informed me that Hans' 5/2 - 5/8 boarding was being denied due to him having a heart murmur condition. Even though I've been a loyal customer to you for over 10 years; and that Hans' heart murmur condition had already been noted in your system sinc... read more
Business response:
Hello Lawrence, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience, and we sincerely apologize for the stress and frustration this situation caused you and Hans. You are absolutely right that this should have been communicated far earlier. We understand how upsetting it must have been to arrive for check-in less than 24 hours before your international trip and learn that boarding could not proceed. We also recognize that you entered Hans’ condition on your profile previously and we regret the information was not flagged... read more
I took my senior dog there the first time in December 2025, they forgot to feed him so he went all day without eating. he threw up in the evening when we got home. Then I was in need of a couple of hours the other day because they offered me two free days when I signed up so I used my second free day and they ended up charging me. I don't think I'll be going there again at least to Oakland.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback with me, Jane. I really appreciate you sharing your concerns, and I can personally relate to the protectiveness you have of your rescue pup, Oliver. As a pet parent myself, I am extremely protective of my rescue, Thena. She means the world to me. We are here for you and Oliver! I look forward to improving your stay and ensuring you feel confident while Oliver is in our care. Your feedback is invaluable, and we're here for you! Thank you for another opportunity to invite you back, make thi... read more
Not for cats I should have known from the marketing but while it is possible to room a cat here, this place and its employees clearly cater to dogs exclusively. My cat refused to eat or drink, or even come out of her carrier the entire time she was here (as I watched the whole time on the provided camera stream) and yet Wag kept sending me these emails like YOUR PET IS SO HAPPY, SHE'S DREAMING OF TREATS!!!!1! the whole time. When I picked her up they made a comment like "oh she was very sleepy and shy, we tried to pet her b... read more

We have connected with our team to ensure that our communication, surrounding any guest who seems scared or anxious during their stay, is as frequent and collaborative as possible with their pet parent, to ensure we can provide the best care for that guest. I left my dog her over Thanksgiving for 4 days. When I got her back I got her back with 2 days worth of dog food. They did not feed my dog according to the instructions I verbally gave them at the front desk when they asked about feeding. When I got my dog back she stunk so much!!!
Business response:

Been taking my dog here for two years, went to drop her off today and was turned away bc her bordatella vaccine was one month overdue. No warning, no email alerting me, nothing - just an unpleasant surprise that ruined my plans for the day. Bordatella isn't rabies folks, let's keep a little perspective, and maybe think about alerting your customer if a slightly overdue vaccine is that big of a deal to you.
Business response:
Hi Rebekah, Thank you for bringing your concern to our attention, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused. We review upcoming reservations and reach out to pet parents about expired or expiring vaccinations; however, we don't seem to have any reservations for Cricket at this time. Again, I apologize for any inconvenience, and I want to explain our process and why we didn't send a reminder. Please know that safety for all guests is our top priority. Current vaccines help us ensure that all pups in our care are up to dat... read more
