my dog didn't seem too thrilled that it was time to go home. The staff is very friendly, and made me feel really comfortable about their services.
Unfortunately, the quality of care here is not up to a high standard. I used to bring my dog here all the time but the last time was the final time. It started when I dropped her off in the morning, the person working told me that she hadn't been "adequately" trained yet and that she didn't know how to see if there were any grooming appointments available. This made me worry that she might mix my dog's food with another dog's. My dog has a very sensitive stomach and cannot mix foods. Sure enough, a couple of days into my vac... read more
Better care for the dogs. I had the worst experience there with my 2 dogs. And if you ready reviews a lot of people experience the lack of quality and care they provide. STAY AWAY from this place
Business response:
Jamie, I’m so sorry one of your babies got sick , this is never a good feels. I totally understand your sadness and frustration with this. I too have 2 fur babies. This too would break my heart as well. Trust me when I say we do love & care for all of our Guests, this is why we do what we do. Getting sick like kennel cough can happen when boarding due to a low immune system. like if any guest has not been to a boarding facility for a while or if it’s your first time. This can & does happen in any boarding Facility . You tr... read more
I'd leave a 1 star review but up until recently, we actually had a fairly pleasant experience with Wag Hotels Santa Clara. They seem to be the only wag hotel that is not welcoming to dogs of all sizes and ages. Every other wag in the Bay Area says explicitly they are welcoming to everyone but that line is specifically missing from the Santa Clara location. Our dog just hit his 16th birthday (we think, he was an adopted dog) which apparently is an arbitrary limit to the age of the dogs this location will accept (even though ... read more

Didn't even get to use the services here. I made a reservation for my two toy poodles to stay here for four days. The online site told me that their immunizations were not up to date. So, I called to find out what their records were missing. I reached a man who told me that the records were complete and he could not understand why the website stated that. So, he checked my reservation to determine if everything was good for my pups' first stay. He asked about my puppy and asked why he was not neutered. My puppy is only 5 mon... read more
Called to make a reservation. Spent 22 minutes on hold only for the call to disconnect!? I wouldn't have bothered if I knew this place was run by Comcast. My pup has stayed here before. It's expensive but... fine? I paid for a bath, she didn't come back bathed. After this experience though I won't be back.
Business response:
Hi Aaron, I'm truly sorry to hear about the frustration you experienced while trying to make a reservation with us, especially after spending 22 minutes on hold only for the call to disconnect. I completely understand how frustrating and inconvenient this must have been for you. Your time is valuable, and it's unacceptable that you weren't able to reach us promptly and efficiently. Regarding your pup's stay and the missed bath service, I apologize for the oversight and any disappointment it caused. Providing top-notch care... read more
Terrible experience. I picked my dog up yesterday after boarding him this last week.Still dealing with the trauma. The post below is what I wrote on the Wag Hotel Facebook Page after not getting adequate help while out of town and my little dog who I trusted Wag to protect did nothing close. I am still livid. My dog is not the same. Posted 2 days ago on Wag Hotel in Santa Clara, CA Facebook page. ------------------------- I am living my worst nightmare! My little dog is boarding with Wags Hotel Santa Clara. I am out of tow... read more

Hello Pamela, We are truly sorry to hear about the negative experience you had during Acorns stay. We understand your frustration, and we apologize for any distress it caused you. We take your feedback seriously and will use it to make improvements to ensure the best possible care for all our guest. Acorn is the sweetest little guy and I loved taking him out of his room to spend quality time with him. I loved taking him out to a play area and see him walk around and enjoy the fresh air. He does the cutest little dance when ... read more
Drop off was ok. No updates on our profile and no picture update. Had to call to check on our dog and asked for a picture which we never got. Pick up was horrible. No information on how everything went or any kind of report card. Asked about a promo that was showing online and the front desk denied it. Had to have a manager come assist. Helped a regular customer in the middle of helping me out. Luckily our dog seemed to be taken care of but will be looking elsewhere for boarding in the future.

While planning a vacation, your planning to making arrangements on the best care for your fur animal while your gone, Unfortunately this was the worst experience ever.. They were manhandling my dog, chasing my dog and traumatizing him, once he was able to get the leash on him he dragging him out of the play room. We called to see how he was doing, they said he was aggressive when he isn't aggressive at all, he goes to doggies parks all the time.. durning the time I checked the camera and there was no proof he was bei... read more

Hi Melissa, We're so sorry that this was your experience with us. We appreciate your candor in speaking on this matter and bringing it to our attention. We wouldn't be able to learn and grow without feedback like yours. Arlo is so sweet and we loved having him in the hotel, though our all day play activity seemed to be a bit overwhelming for him. Sometimes the furry family members in our care can have SO much fun that they stop responding to their name and even overstimulated in play. We should have done better to remov... read more
