I will never bring my dog back to this place!! My dog stayed for 7 days and told that the 2 nd day she was in heat ..that was a lie I was charge $40 extra for 5 days !! I don't trust my dog was spotting at all just to add more charges. I will never take my dog back. The cashier was rude and didn't explain much ..didn't even mention how much more they charged me until I received my receipt .. I was shocked. SO DISAPPOINTED ...and DISGUSTED!! They lost a good customer!!

I've been taking my dogs to Wag hotel for a while now and today I get notified that between Dec 22 and Jan 1 they will not be available for boarding. I chose Wag because I am listed for a lung transplant and need a facility that would be able to take my dog at any time on a moments notice when I get my call. We were told that would not be a problem. Now I'm left scrambling looking for a place that will be available just in case I get the call between now and Jan 1. I am new to the area and recently heard wonderful things about Wag Hotel. I toured the Oakland location and was immediately impressed by the facility, the staff, and the level of care provided. However, during a recent trip to Sacramento for a meeting, I boarded my dog at the West Sacramento location and noticed several differences that left me uneasy. Ive been reading that many people have been having bad experiences at Wag, however I always had a fine experience. The last two visits however, I felt like something was off. My gut was telling me to not book there anymore. I Ignored my gut and booked an all day play visit for my two pups. I checked in and was told the feedings were at noon and 6 pm, and asked which feeding time I preferred. I mentioned 6 pm and added a meal topper. They know how to make a reservation but not how to keep one. After making extended travel plans the day I arrived to check in my pet, they cancelled the reservation with no explanation given.

If you care about your pets, do not take your pets to this hotel. I have used them twice and never again. The first time, was during labor day weekend, they were short staffed. My dogs did not get their evening walk then and I spoke the supervisor about it and I gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was a busy weekend. MY MISTAKE. I don't write reviews lightly, but what happened at this pet hotel was completely unacceptable. I'm so frustrated by their faulty website. Everytime I hit contact us I try to fill the form and then suddenly get "sorry couldn't load" then you have to start all over. I tried six times and at the seventh time I came to write review. I was trying to ask if they offer 1 month stay but couldn't.

On Saturday afternoon, I received a call informing me that my cat was being sent to the vet due to some bleeding (which I already informed them of his digestive issues that cause some bleeding).
