The staff is highly under-trained and do not read notes. It's very difficult to make arrangements for your pet. The app clearly allows you to make notes. However, what's the use if no one ever bothers to read. I'm very disappointed. My dog came home injured, three times. Unfortunately, we won't be able to use this location any longer.

I was charged an $800 bill when it was initially $400. Regards to his update about his stay, they didn't notify me that he was on specialized care and how he was diagnosed with kennel cough until I came to pick him up. Tried to dispute it and nothing was done. As a first time customer, I had high hopes for my pets stay. But now I'm upset how misleading they are towards the care and hidden costs. This place has questionable practices and I would only use as a last resort. You may not get the quarters you pay for and they may not be honest about it. Employees were not very knowledgeable or helpful however the staff at the 809 number were great!

I took my dog here and they failed to brush her teeth for the second time but still charged for it. Update: The teeth brushing wasn't done for a second time; but the haircut was good! 3 stars because we got hung up on for call backs and hung up on after being on hold multiple times. They did eventually get back to us to make it right. I think they just had a busy weekend

We have boarded our dog at multiple locations and decided to give Wag a try. We paid for a medium size room along with a couple all-day plays. While, I did enjoy being able to tune in to my dog playing with other dogs on live came, I was incredibly disappointed, and rather scared with the state in which my dog was returned back to me on pick up. Our boarding experience at Wag Hotels in West Sacramento was a disappointment. We booked the large deluxe suite for our two dogs. The employee explained their no outside bedding policy and assured me two beds would be in their suite. We also requested all-day play as part of their package. We dropped them off at 12:45pm on Friday and confirmed they'd be in all-day play as part of their package. I checked the all-day play camera at 2pm and they weren't there. They were in their suite. Horrible pet hotel! You make reservations online or by calling and it takes about a week for them to either confirm or decline your reservation. Worst pet hotel ever! I would give them negative 10 stars if I could. I recommend to get a certified private pet sitter instead of dealing with a horrible pet hotel like WAG hotels.

When they are boarded, they only get 2 hours of play per day unless you pay a fee for all day play. They try to make it seem like a deal at $20, but at $92 a night, that's outrageous. I wasn't allowed to see the room, so I don't know what "large" means, as there aren't pictures or dimensions. He's in that room for 22 hours a day. Sounds weird to me. Board your dog elsewhere. We boarded our dog here and added all day play only to find out that means our pup gets to be cramped in a small indoor play area with 30 dogs and one human handler. That's so unsafe!! We checked on the camera everyday, and it's just dogs walking around looking bored (honestly looked almost like anxious pacing, which is not at all normal for our dog).
