Booked 3 dogs this year for almost a week stay. Unfortunately, all 3 dogs came home with something. The youngest dog currently has kennel cough and our 2 older dogs (1 is a senior, the other is just a 5 yr old) have diarrhea, nausea and vomiting but no coughing signs. This is the second time booking where not one but all dogs became sick. Not sure what's going on at this boarding place when they are described as clean. Only leave your pup here if you want them to get kennel cough from the other dogs and be locked in their room for 23 hours a day. We had zero peace of mind while we were on the other side of the country that our baby was being taken care of. Would never leave our dog here again!! Also was overcharged and told I would be receiving a refund. Called back a week later and whoops they forgot to send it.

We left our 9 year old German Shorthair Pointer Emma here for 5 days. She has anxiety and we were nervous about leaving here. While at the airport yesterday I got a voicemail regarding a cough. She indeed had quite the cough and I see at least one other dog was sent home with one this week. I picked her up last night. I believe I was over charged but not sure because I don't have any type of receipt or invoice. They also had no details to report on her stay. I picked up my dogs today from a week vacation. I noticed one of my dogs had a cough. I waited a few hours and noticed it was consistent. Both dogs smelled like urine. I called to tell them these things and was told that the pm shift didn't know anything about. The am shift just left so theyll email them. And that they'll investigate it. I told them I don't understand how nobody noticed this. That there is no way no one noticed. She then tried to state it couldve started after leaving...no...not coughing like this. TERRIBLE, incompetent, frustrating experience with the West Sacramento Wag Hotel. I do not recommend leaving your pet with this facility because the office staff is disorganized and incompetent. Last week, I drove with my new puppy to the Wag Hotel on Enterprise Blvd. in West Sacramento for their Puppy Socialization after making a reservation for him on the telephone. Doesn't look like this place has a friendly staff. Every time I come in here they look like they hate their lives, short cold and no customer interactions whatsoever. Was about 6 mins late to drop him off due to a traffic jam and they rudely decline my dog and I had to take my dog to work. If I was you I hire a private dog sitter. I don't recommend this place at all.

We brought our dog for 1 night stay, and will never come back here again. When we picked up our dog and brought her home, we noticed our dog was limping, had sores on her legs, and feces on her tail and legs. When you are paying over $100 for your dog to stay somewhere you expect your dog to be in the same or better shape then when you drop them off. Please do not bring your dogs to this location.

The worst dog daycare facility ever! My dog is just reactive to playing with other dogs but he never gets aggressive. After first couple times he went there, they took him out of play group and locked him in a crate because he got "overstimulated." They banned him from going to to all day play, which was unreasonable to me. They do not try to accommodate you at all. They lock your dogs in kennels when they get mouthy. We had a terrible experience there. Our dog came back limping from the stay and was suddenly afraid of other dogs. Just as the pandemic hit in 2020 they were offering to make it right. But we didn't feel comfortable sending any family members out into public, even furry ones. Recently we called them and said we'd take them up on their offer to make it right. They're turning us down and said it's because of our review. So I'm leaving another one. Don't promise something if you're not going to follow through.
