I had a great first experience at Solis Mammography today. The location is easy to find on the first floor of their building on 19th Street. The waiting room was a bit confusing--there was a clipboard on the end table but it had the wrong date--after waiting to speak with reception they indicated to still sign in on that sheet. Things only went up from there. The front desk staff were nice and helpful. I did wish that they had sent the forms/link for preregistration ahead of time, but minor issue. Another great experience at Washington Radiology! They should pay me to be on their commercials! :) It was very easy to make an appointment for an MRI. They got me in very quickly. Waiting time in the main waiting room was minimal, less than 10 minutes. When I asked for the key to the bathroom they made sure it was wiped off with Lysol (details matter). After my scathing review, I received a phone call from someone who wanted to know more about my experience with this office. She seemed to take down all the input and assured me that changes would be made. I definitely appreciate the opportunity to improve any organization. I have still not gone back -- but hopefully they have implemented some changes.

Follow up Dr Chopra called me and gave me an extremely detailed report and was so very kind and explained everything to me in laymans terms. I am now updating my review, and while the phone service was horrific, the humans involved changed my review to two thumbs up! It took actual human beings to change my awful review to a good one! Get rid of your phone service and use the kind and professional people that work for you to do their jobs, they were wonderful!

I walked in for an X-ray, the waiting room was busy when I arrived but they got through everyone promptly and I was seen within 30 minutes. All staff were very helpful and kind, great experience overall.

Let me start out by saying that no one is ever jazzed about going to an imaging appointment at an imaging center. It's not sexy, but usually something that you have been ordered to do or part of routine healthcare. I am no exception. I scheduled an appointment at Washington Radiology in K St NW for 5:30 PM in a Friday evening. I was there for an MRI and was welcomed with a warm greeting when I walked in. Scheduling my MRI was tremendously frustrating - I called multiple times and left several voicemails over the course of a week and the phone just rang and rang and no voicemails were ever returned. I finally got a direct email address for the MRI center by speaking with a general scheduler and that helped establish communication. Despite the initial scheduling challenges, the actual MRI was a breeze.
