Went for a CT scan. Arrived 30 minutes early as instructed and was checked-in right away. 10 minutes later I was called for the exam (15 minutes early!). All the personnel I encountered were professional and quite friendly. I needed to call for some pre-procedure instructions and the telephone was promptly picked-up and I had all my questions answered by a professional. Would definitely use them again.
I came here for a chest x-ray. Walk-in hour starts at 9 (according to their website), so I arrived at 9:35, went to the 9th floor, and checked in at the appropriate desk. There were about 3-5 other people in the waiting room. About 10-15 minutes later I was called in and had my x-ray done promptly. I've been here twice and had good experiences. Both appointments were at 7:30 am and ran on schedule. The technician at the first appointment, Richard, communicated carefully and very kindly. At the second appointment, I had a question about what my doctor had specifically ordered. The technician, Claudia, cleared it up while I was there. She phoned my doctor, waited on hold, and had the front desk continue trying until we got the answer we needed. Very pleased.
After being bounced around to three different people, I was finally able to submit my referral for an MRI. Two days later missed a call back to schedule said MRI, so I returned the call three times over different days and no one answered. Finally got through and was told that my referral (which I'd sent in the week before) was not on file. Resubmitted it and am hoping for some resolution. This is the kind of medical care we pay exorbitant prices for in this country??
TLDR: predatory billing, wildly bureaucratic scheduling system, chaotic administration, apathetic care. The worst medical experience, top to bottom, I have ever experienced. Extremely rude scheduling lady on the phone when I just called to try to set up my appointment (which she failed to do). That was after a very very long phone tree and being asked if I would take a survey, which would "come automatically" after the call. Instead, the call just eventually hung up while I waited. I'm sure the lady who answers doesn't want anyone taking the survey. Convenient location, but I'd rather go anywhere else!
Had a service April 2025. The medical care we received was good which is the only reason I have two stars, but the billing department has been an abject nightmare. I was told I had to pay upfront on the day of service, so I did. I was told that was the total I would have to pay, so I considered the cost covered. But I hadnt received anything applied to my deductible by July, so I started calling Optum and was told there was no account set up under the patient name. They have inappropriate and unethical billing practices. I am completely alarmed that I received notice from a collections agency before receiving a bill from Washington Radiology. It appears they waited 10-11 months to bill my insurance company and then immediately sent me to collections for not paying the copay when they never notified me about it! do not recommend Solis Mammography. Working backwards in time, my mammogram was 17 days ago and I have not received results. I called, and was told there "had been a glitch" that caused a nine day delay in review. While at their location, their unfriendly front desk staff disrespectfully discussed a woman who had been confused about parking after she'd gone back.
