I had my first experience getting an X-ray with this location. It was a little confusing once you exited off the elevator on the 9th floor as to where to go. The staff handled the process well and assured me that they were in network with my insurance. Total time from start to finish was 50 mins.
THE VERY WORST THING ABOUT WRA IS THEIR TELEPHONE SYSTEM! if you ever reach anyone, many have an "I don't give a damn about you" attitude. I had a terrible time trying to reach anyone to change an appt and NO ONE EVER CALLED ME BACK! So today I was in Washington and I stopped in at the WRA office on K Street and I could not believe it when they told me they could do the MRI today!! Cindy did the test and I must say that she is a star. I was able to stay still through all the tests primarily because of her and her fantastic a... read more
I don't get the negative reviews. The technician I just had was as gentle as you can be with a procedure that ultimately is uncomfortable no matter what you do. Look, ladies, we're squishing a boob between two plastic plates. It's not gonna feel good. If you relax and let the tech move you where you need to be, it's better (I've had a lot of mammograms-I can genuinely say this most recent one was less painful than many others). The receptionist is a little brusque, but not unprofessional-and she warmed up after I chatted wit... read more
My experience in DC was excellent. Dr. Ho, Danielle and Michelle could not have been more sensitive, careful and caring, turning a double biopsy that I feared would be scary and painful into a much more tolerable experience. For over a decade, WRA in DC has been my go-to site for breast health.
I would give Dr. Jackson an A+. She proactively followed up on my mammogram and as a result, I did not need a diagnostic. I definitely appreciate her for this. She saved me from experiencing unnecessary angst. When one receives an inconclusive diagnosis, its nerve-wracking. Furthermore, as you know, mammograms, including diagnostics are very uncomfortable. Her intervention saved me a lot of unnecessary worry and discomfort and I am so grateful to her for this. K Street, NW DC is lucky to have her.
I just had the best experience here. As someone with a fear of medical intervention, it's nice having a caring staff to walk you through the process. I truly appreciated the empathy during the entire process (mammogram) from front desk check in to the nurses. Thank you for doing an amazing job and treating patients well!
Yesterday I had a lymph node biopsy and I have nothing but good feedback regarding my experience with the staff. Danielle provided amazing support throughout the process. She followed up with me to reschedule my appointment at an earlier date. She contacted my doctor to ensure that the order was on file all while keeping me updated. Danielle and Dr Ego-Osuala took the time to explain every step. They both eased my anxieties and made a stressful time pleasant. I strongly recommend them and will continue to use them for... read more
I wanted to share my positive experience at Washington Radiology's K Street office. The front office staff greeted me pleasantly and I didn't have a long wait before being called back. Raquel, the tech, made me feel comfortable and at ease. When I asked for a thyroid guard prior to my mammogram, she didn't make me feel awkward about it. The best part about the visit was my conversation with the radiologist, Dr. Anjali Malik. She was thoughtful and considerate, and I didn't feel rushed. In addition, she went out of her way to... read more
Needed to go in for two items. I reached someone on the phone quickly, she scheduled me quickly, and my appointment was extremely efficient. Agree with the other positive reviews and appreciate the kind and competent staff. Will definitely return here for future radiology needs. (Had an appointment at another doctor recently and she asked to see my picture from 4 years ago. I said...I can find it...I think I had it done in DC. That doctor's tech left the exam room and had my picture from Washington Radiology in about... read more
