After working with several lenders in this particularly difficult mortgage climate Watermark came through for us remarkably well. They were very responsive and guided us through the process with minimal confusion. This is my 4th mortgage, and while lenders are putting borrowers through much more scrutiny due to the fallout of the mortgage crisis, they were remarkably available and helpful. Casey Lamm was our primary contact and I would recommend him highly.

Kenny George was very helpful throughout the process. We had some complications in processing the refinancing but he was always super-responsive and I think put it quite a bit extra work to make sure it all came off well. We have been trying for almost a year to get a HARP loan to refinance an investment property that was "underwater." The first attempt drug on for 7 months while we submitted mountains of paperwork and the lender stalled until the lock rate ran out. Ryan is the best. Before Watermark, I was very frustrated dealing with the big banks - there was too much run around and their rate was higher. When I got a hold of Ryan, he was sharp, a no non-sense kind of guy and explained to me in "Kindergarten" level how my refi would move forward. We established an aggressive goal of closing in record level and we did! We were able to close from start to finish in about 16 days. I refinanced two loans (primary residence and an investment property) with Ryan Sheets at Watermark. I do have great FICO scores and steady income. I am a very meticulous person and is familiar with the loan process. I already had shopped around for rates. So, I was impressed when Ryan was able to provide me with a better offer.
