Refi exsisting home loan from Navy Federal Credit Union to Watermark. Jennifer Chang was extremely helpful and I was shocked on how fast the process took!!
Jennifer was extremely helpful and responsive; I would highly recommend her services. The only issue that I encountered was with their loan processing department. As a broker, they will obviously sell these loans to big banks. Watermark's instruction to me was to pay Watermark for the first few months until Wells Fargo "officially" takes over the loan. Watermark promised to process my payment, which they did not. I was subsequently late on my very first mortgage payment, but Wells Fargo waived all fees.
My refinance experience started on the downside with a mortgage consultant who is no longer with Watermark. I was then contacted by Junius Lim who more than made up for his former co-worker. Junius picked up the pieces and got my refinance done very quickly and efficiently. I did have some special requests and like clockwork Junius accommodated me. I have completed multiple loans/refi's and this experience by far was the most pleasant and quick. If you want someone to work for YOU then give Junius a call!
I worked with Patrick Ladkani on multiple refinances over the years. I am always extremely satisfied with his zero cost refinances and have referred him many times (and those folks have been happy with him too). I've worked with one other mortgage broker, and tried to work with the banks, but Patrick's deals were easily the best I found. Overall we had a very positive experience. Whenever we had questions we would call Jennifer and she would always get back to us within 36 hours. I'm sure it was difficult being that we are on opposite sides of the country but she was knowledgeable and very helpful. If she didn't have an answer, she would find out and get back to us. I had a very pleasant experience refinancing my home loan with Watermark Home Loans. I was able to refinance from an interest rate of 4.5 % to 3.5 % and I didn't have to pay any closing costs. I was in touch with Jennifer Chang and her response was always very prompt and clear. I had several questions in the process and she answered all my questions in a timely manner. I had an excellent experience with Watermark Home Loans. Although they were not local to me, they still provided better service. The difference was in the details.
I was very pleased and Junius did a great job in explaining everything so that the terms of the loan were understood. He was also very responsive and available when I had questions. He always got back to me immediately.
I received an offer to to reduce my interest rate back in 8/12 back then offer was 3.25% a great offer, I contacted this CO. at first I was hesitant since I had first contacted BANK OF AMERICA to whom I was paying my mortgage their response was I would have to buy points in order to get a low interest rate., this would of cost me about 15,000 dollars, I explain to the rep. the offer I had received from Watermark and he told me this company was hiding something, hidden fees that would come afterwards.
