PSA: Do not go to WellNow Clinic to get COVID tested… my children and I were exposed and we went in on Wednesday evening to get tested. They didn’t take our insurance but were the only place open at the hour when we found out we were exposed. They told us it would be 24-48 hours for results (likely 48 due to the holiday) took my money ($300), tested us, and THEN told me they wouldn’t even SEND OFF the test until Friday at 11, so now it is 24-48 hours from then… which we could have gotten at the free testing site at the mall.... read more

RecommendedDaya was wonderful. Went in for COVID testing and she got in me in and out best she could. She definitely lifted my spirits out of a crummy feeling of being sick.

I was recently ordered to the WellNow Urgent Care facility in Troy, New York, for a pre-employment physical. After enduring a nearly two and a half hour wait in the parking lot for a room to open up, I was forced to contend with one of the most poorly run, inadequately staffed facilities I've ever encountered in my life. RecommendedI had an appointment for 12 PM on October 30, 2021. While waiting in my truck, a car pulled up in two women dragged a lifeless young man out of the car and dropped him in the parking lot at the front door of Wellnow Niskayuna Ny. The car containing the two women sped off leaving the young man, who was lifeless. A good Samaritan started doing some CPR. Unbelievable. I made an appointment online for my daughter and I was told to show up at a certain time. We came about 5 minutes before that time & the front desk told us “Theirs several people in front of you, it’ll be awhile”. I don’t understand why you’re able to make an appointment but then it doesn’t apply to your visit when you’re here. This is the one in Niskayuna NY. I checked in 5:10pm via website. One of the woman confirmed that I checked it. I said I'm having flu like symptoms so I need a flu test and a Covid test. She said ok. But she did not verify my info only my name. I had been there in July so I figured she saw that. After a 90 minute wait. I get called by phone to the front desk and I'm sitting in the waiting area! RecommendedI went to my pediatrician where I didn’t receive any antibiotics, after worsening I immediately headed to WellNow Urgent Care in Auburn NY where they immediately prescribed be with antibiotics and had me in and out of the room in a matter of 10 minutes! I see a lot of negative reviews about WellNow, but it’s always because they’re at full capacity with all their Covid testing.
