Easy application and approval process but THEN you have to deal with the disgusting customer service and highly unprofessional ways they go about things. I definitely would not recommend 21st to anyone. Unfortunately I didn't do my research thoroughly.
I have to 100% agree with the people in these reviews. Easy to get a loan, very hard to get out of. I called and had them send me a payoff for my loan to payoff. set it up, sent the payoff. between the time it was sent and the time the cashed the check the payoff went up 4 times. i have 4 payoff letters all with, new amounts, adding interest, adding my escrow into it. In order to get this account paid, i had to send money 2x after, an additional 4k more than the original payoff. Worst part is that it was within the timeline.... read more

When we lost our income due to my husband's company he worked for closing unexpectedly we explained our situation and why we were late on payments and did everything we could to pay our mortgage borrowing money from family and selling a vehicle. They called every single day and harass you ask you the same questions you answered the day before. They have no understanding of hard situations or respect. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! If I could give this company less than 1 star I would. Do NOT waste your time with this mortgage company. They will call you multiple times a day to harass you about confirming a payment. The customer service is horrible!

BEWARE!! 21st Mortgage Corporation in Knoxville,TN are abunch of theives and liars. I cancelled the ins.that cost over $200 a month and found my own and my payment never go down it went up shortly after and i was told by 21st Mortgage Corporation that the mortgage went up "well New Mexico raised there home Ins.premiums,rates everything." Come to find out they never cancelled the Ins. that was supposed to be cancelled,it was through there Insurance dept. and they picked up the Ins.co I wanted and paid for. Unless you are calling to make a payment, they are supremely unhelpful. I called to ask about refinancing my mobile home months ago, and was told, “you’re $100 under our refinance cutoff limit, we cant help you.” Today, i called to get a payoff quote through June 20th, because I’m selling the home and that’s when the new owners will take over. I was told “we can only do June 15th, our system doesn’t go out that far.” Today is May 24th, but their system can’t go out 30 days? It seems highly unlikely. 21st is quick to approve ... read more

This company’s website does not work half the time the customer service team is rude this the 1st time I’ve been late on my payment because I we were let go early a couple days and the gentleman on the phone was so rude to me and wanted to know exactly why I was gonna be late paying it’s none of there business why I haven’t paid yet and then I go to pay today and no one answers even though there hours are until 8pm so no I don’t recommend this company to anyone!!

I have experienced the worst customer service ever with this company. I called to make a past due payment (24 days) and they started off by demanding to know why I couldn’t make the payment on time. After I shared we’d gotten behind on other bills due to shortened hours they proceeded to tell me this is a bill and it needs to be paid on time. Then proceeded to scold me for 15 minutes saying things such as “there’s no reason you can’t pay this bill on time, you’re just choosing not to”. This was all done by a “supervisor” by ... read more
