Ok, first off for every review I have read. 21st uses the same response to every single one. Do you just copy and paste your response. My story is similar but my mortgage was bought by this horrible company. So I had no choice in the matter. Long story short, my due date is on the 15th of every month. With my original company I had until the 30th to pay without being charged. In the memo I received from this company, it stated that nothing would change from my original loan. It's looking to finance a manufactured home stay completely away from 21st mortgage they are crooks they lie. We were finalizing our mortgage ********* f. said we would get an extension because of their lack of communication and keeping on the project on hand instead after 40 days they redid the approval just so they could get 2% more interest out of us and at this time we were too far into it to start process all over. A the seller of a Modular Home I found that this Moortage company had no desire to efficiently manage the process of closing out my loan with Triad Finincial Services or myself. They made no effort to work directly with me and forced me to acquire corrections for small issues and caused me to need to accquire 3 different payoff documents which overall caust me 5 days worth of interest added to the payoff amount. If i could give them 0 stars i would i spoke with Lyndsey Kayleigh Lindsay manager and Ryan in regards to a payment i was making and none of them were wanting to take my payment they were very degrading to me and gave made it impossible to take my payment over the phone and online (they put a lock on my account)

Their customer service was horrible. I was calling them to have them help me switch my bank account information for auto pay. they told me i couldnt do it online i had to do it over the phone with them. That was a lie i could have done it easily online and not had the other issues. Then they told me i had to have in writing they had permission to switch the account info so i sent that in the email and they never called me to tell me that wasnt good enough they just replied to my email, but i am not a person that uses email f... read more

If I could give this mortgage company 0 stars I would. Rudest company I have ever had to deal with! DO NOT RECOMMEND BUYING A HOME THROUGH THEM THEY THREATEN YOU AFTER BEING A FEW DAYS LATE DUE TO ME BEING LAID OFF WHILE HIGH RISK PREGNANCY & my husband just starting a new job! only owing PART of our mortgage because I couldn't pay the remainder! I have a loan through 21st. I'm selling my home. My buyers were already pre-approved through 21st to buy a brand new home in the same community my home is in. Have their down payment and approved to close. Buyers change their mind and want to buy my home instead because it has an extra bedroom, larger, and $5k cheaper. All of a sudden, 21st is giving my buyer a hard time about their income documentation. Turns out Clayton Homes and 21st mortgage is owned by the same company. Hmmm....

This company HARASSES BY INTIMIDATION and OTHER tactics. Please do your homework before doing business with them. Putting you on hold. Transferring to supervisors. Supervisors wanting to know why your payment is late. Multiple Emails regarding same topic. They are very RUDE!! Just a month behind on a payment? They drag us through the mud! Will not work with us.
