Having the 8 x 8 Mobile App allows freedom away from the office. Calls can still be answered and/or voice mails replied to without feeling that you are tied to your office desk phone. Customers don't want to hear "I'm currently out of the office and will return your call when I return". Now, with the Mobile App, they don't have to hear that and they don't gain access to your personal mobile phone number when the 8 x 8 app is used.

I can honestly say that the reason I love it so much is because it gives me the freedom to call my residents back from my personal phone and the number they see me calling from is the office. I never have to return calls and give away my personal cell phone number. This also allows me to have 24 hour contact with the people we serve, which in today's market is huge.

We have multiple employees that work in the field and from home. The advantage of the phones working off their individual computers but ties them into the office atmosphere as though they are sitting right next to their co-workers. Calls are never unanswered, voice mails at fingertips on the internet via email no matter what state they are located. A virtual office.
I t all started one day last year in the middle of a school year at that. We had made the switch the a new fiber line with gig speed for our school and all was well, so we thought for about 3 weeks then it happened! crash went our phones we called for help which your support people were ever so kind and helpful but nothing was working, we couldn't figure out what went wrong. I cancelled on May 31 2016, but 8x8x did not note it until June 1, 2016. I paid the last month and they insisted on billing me again for July. Very underhanded and unethical.

Well, simply: I work in member service. Came to work one morning in 2015 and got introduced to 8x8. In the beginning like any new system it was a little intimidating but once I got comfortable with the system and all it call do to support customer service its pretty excellent.
