Whenever I forget to establish out-of-office voicemail in my office phone, I can always use the 8x8 app on my cell phone to record and set specific voicemail greetings on the go.
Had an issue with phone calls dropping and buzzing noise in the phone. Said that removing the call recording service would fix issue. Isn't that part of the service I'm paying for? Then went to cancel service and they say I have to give a 30 day notice to cancel so I got charged another 185.00 for service I didn't need. Doesnt integrate well with Salesforce, keeps dropping calls/logging out while on a call. Often doesn't record calls and my superiors rely heavily on the data it provides.

1)we dont need to install the application,its browser based. 2)routing calls are easy, i mean to your cell phone or landline 3)dont have to be geek to configure and use it
Seems to be very buggy. Great when it works but often problems with the SF integration and not dialling when meant to.

The 24/7 ability to fax into the systems I need to fax to is the most beneficial. The system allows the continuation of faxing until it is completed and a lot of times my faxes are what tech support states is to large to send. However I have found that if I send a fax and it is undelivered of timed out the system saves a copy of the fax I was trying to send and I then use this saved version and the system will allow the fax to go through even if it is 100 pages or more. 90% of my business is electronic and *x* allows me to s... read more
8x8 salesforce integration is terrible and buggy at best.

Ported numbers out of 8x8 in February, they continued to charge for March, April, and May even though we were not using their service. We called to see if we could get a refund, talked to J. in the cancellation department who provided us with nothing but an attitude and scripted answers. Would not recommend to anyone due to shady business practices.
We've used the service for years. My dealing with tech support in the past several calls has been awful. They act bored and don't seem to want to problem-solve why we have to uninstall then reinstall the software every other month.
