8x8 is reliable, period ! When I was in a foreign location, there was a problem with connecting the 8x8 interface to the internet. One of the 8x8 tech support team stayed with me on the phone trouble shooting the software until he was able to verify the connection. It was almost an hour. We recently added faxing to our account and I LOVE IT!! We are a medical billing office and I am responsible for submitting medical records to insurance companies for review prior to payment. I used to have to print the records and manually fax them. Now I have become truly paperless as I can save the records as a PDF to my desktop and attach to my 8x8 fax. No periodic maintenance on my part is a big win. But the reason I tell everyone about 8x8 is lower phone bill and the ability to forward one number to several phones at the same time.
My company has been using 8x8 for over 3 years and we've had nothing but excellent service. Now a 180 person company, it is of absolute importance to us to have quality-sounding calls and the ease of retrieving call recordings or voicemails. 8x8 has an excellent, seamless system (Virtual Office) that makes all of that painless. Voicemail right to email!
As a company we love many things about 8x8. But for me personally its about being able to take it anywhere. In the distribution business that we are in i can be at my desk one minute then out in the warehouse fixing problems. Using the app make life so easy to take calls or messages on the move. Also working remote is a breeze from anywhere. So to me the flexibility and ease of use is what i love the most.
i like that i am able to quickly message my colleges without having to yell across the room. its convenient when we may have students in the open lobby that don't need to hear private information.
We actually have great affection for a few features: 1) When we miss a call the voicemail recording is emailed to us. 2) We are able to record calls on some of our extensions, which is an important component of one of our client services 3) When we want to add extensions or change an extension's services, it is completed quickly by contacting our account manager - and he sends emails to have us confirm changes before they are executed, so we have a record of those changes. 4) The 8x8 customer support people are very well tra... read more
