Amazing tool that helps boost my productivity
a little clunky and 8x8 slow to populate when a new window or tab pops up. We need the ability to auto-log calls without having to manually push a button to log the call, simply if we take the call, auto-log it as soon as we hang up. Also give us the ability to have no little pop up with the caller id unless we actually pick up the phone. Right now, every single phone call results in a tiny window with the caller ID which makes us x out of all those little windows.
Stay away from this awful company - the service is terrible and their customer service is even worse! THEY AUTO RENEW YOUR CONTRACT WITHOUT TELLING YOU AND WILL CHARGE YOU FOR AN ENTIRE YEAR IF YOU WANT TO CANCEL! And they won't release your number! Avoid! Avoid!

Only reason I gave 1 star was because I had to. DO not use 8x8 terrible customer service, terrible phones. Do NOT USE. They are rude and do not do what they say. I was on hold numerous times with their technical and billing department and their phones don't even work. Kept hanging up on me and then when I finally get thru I have a rude representative who basically hung up on me. Do not use them.

The application should record call automatically instead of having to click "Done" once the call is complete. Plus if you have too many SF tabs open or navigate away from the tab where the call is being recorded you lose the activity. It seems like an unnecessary task since I have used a similar software to 8x8 where it automatically record talk time and dials.

We had been using another Company to host our VOIP services for several years. Aside from the constant service outages, we could never get answers as to how long the service would be down, the technical help was useless and the phones that they sold us for the system we terrible and they refused to swap them. Their website was useless and impossible to navigate. On top of it all, the charges were extremely high and they kept trying to lock us in to long term Contracts to save only a few dollars!!! I love the face that I can answer my business line anywhere I take my VOIP phone with me, plus if I need to be mobile, I can use the 8X8 app on my iPhone and answer business calls without my customers knowing that I am not in the office. This seamless solution creates the illusion that I am in my office and always available to my customers which makes them very happy.
The app and phone system freeze and have issues often.

Concept is great but there are some small things that would be needed to bring it over the 4 star line: - Make it work when more than 5 tabs are open. I have lots going on and almost never have that few. - Make it take up less space in Salesforce or have the option to slide the window in and out of the view. It really screws with reading my accounts.
