I love the functionality of the 8x8 instant message. My office is quite hectic and we are spread out across our floor, my boss and co-workers are able to IM me to come to their office, or just ask a simple question that would take longer to address via email. I also set up a lot of web exes and it is extremely simple to use and send out to clients. I already set up one this morning and it's just 11:00AM. The HD Voice is really nice for calling because it's very clear and easy to understand what people say. Before I had to keep say "what was that?" but not it's a lot more clear and crisp. It was kind of unsettling at first because it sounded like they were right next to me, but now I think it's super useful because I can have a clear conversation.
Reliability and quality. VOIP service through 8x8 has lots of great features, but when it comes to our day to day business as a busy insurance office, it is reliability and voice quality that is most important. We need to know our phones are going to be working and that we can communicate clearly with our customers. 8x8 works.
We have management and sales people that are always on the go. We have an office in San Diego and an office in Palm Springs. We have clients all over California, so we're in different cities on a daily basis. We LOVE that we are always connected no matter where we are. We use the mobile app and clients never even know that we're not in our office when our office transfers their call to us. We love everything about 8x8!
I'm not a long time 8X8 user, however in the time I have been using 8X8, I love it. First, I've completely removed the hard "landline" type phone from my office. I now use the 8X8 app on my Iphone and can do everything and more (mobile) that I could do from my office, allowing me to be more productive. We love all the features and the ease of use. But funny story I have is while using my phone app I'm in a client attic and I call them. It makes it look like I'm at my office till I start texting photos to them of the raccoon I ran into while up there. They didn't know what to think.
