I was using a number forwarder and an answering service, but half the time, the calls were not being answered and customers were going elsewhere. Now, with 8x8, all my calls go where they are supposed to and customers get the service they want and deserve!

I received proposals from three other VOIP service providers and chose 8X8 because of price, the technical knowledge of the 8X8 representative I spoke to on the phone, the prompt service, and no long term contract. The Polycom phone equipment I purchased through 8X8 was also priced much less than the other vendors, and was delivered quickly completely programmed. The ability to make and receive phone calls anywhere and make it appear like I am still in the office. Dialing out of Outlook.

We have offices spread out across the country and many of our employees travel between locations. It's incredibly convenient for them to be able to login from their laptops and have complete access to their phone back in their office, or to even pick up and take their physical phone with them if they're moving locations for an extended period of time. The 8x8 system is low maintenance for IT and simple for everyone to use.

The positives are very simple to sum up. When a call comes in and an agent just walked out the door to the elevator, I just transfer the call to their cell. This feature truly makes communication easier and it lets our clients know that we care about them. Taking a message is not good for customer service, but getting them to the person they really want to talk to makes a good impression.
