The fact that you can receive calls anywhere seamlessly. Also that you receive email notifications with each voicemail.

I love the 'call the caller back' feature inside voice mail. It means I do not have to write down contact numbers or look up client information to return a call. While this doesn't seem like a big thing, it is a great representation of how the little things can make a big difference. It's also very easy to set up call routing, our company directory, and office hour settings for the auto attendant. It's like having a personal assistant to run our phones - but one who doesn't take coffee breaks!

Our favorite 8x8 feature is the cell phone app. We can use our cell phones and make/answer calls from anywhere. As attorneys, we often don't want clients having our personal cell phone numbers, but want the convenience of using our cell phones. When using the 8x8 cell phone app, the phone number that appears on a client's caller ID is our 8x8 phone number, allowing us to receive AND make calls from our cell phones without clients ever seeing our personal phone numbers.

not pleasant, very hard to get information and answers from website and/or customer service

The service is terrible. The phone connection is terrible. 90% of the time there is static or no connection at all. there is no customer service. This was the worst decision we ever made to go with 8x8. And 8x8 doesn't care what we think. Not once has anyone from 8x8 reached out to fix the service.

Phones are poor quality and I continue to get what they call "Ghost calls" on my phones even when I have the lines forwarded to my cell phone I still get them to the 8x8 phones.
