Poor customer service. Long hold times on phone if your even able to get someone to answer the phone.

Worst customer service. Internet works, pay the bill a few days late, pay the bill. Call them to reconnect internet. Wait 2 hours on hold just to be told can’t reconnect internet. Probably have to send a tech out. Poor customer service.

Why its so hard to contact ACS customer service?? I’ve been trying to contact ACS customer service number and no one is answering my call. I already submit a message but its been 2 days and still no response. I missed just 1 payment and I was charged for $295!!!

I got better customer support from Comcast in the early-mid 2000s than I get with ACS.... And it's only gotten worse after selling out to ATN International. Their internet service is awful and grossly overpriced for being too slow to be legally referred to as "broadband", but unfortunately, they are the only terrestrial ISP for my home in Soldotna. ACS is a shining example of why the market absolutely requires real competition!

We called in March to schedule Internet service to our home. An appointment was made for them to come on May 4. The window of time they give you is 8 AM to 4 PM. That is a big window but I waited all day. Nobody came and nobody called. When I called at 4:30 they said I’m still on the schedule and someone should be here before 5:00 PM or they would schedule me for the next day. Nobody called so I called them first thing this morning and they tried to schedule me for June 14! I have already canceled my other Internet and this ... read more

My business has been without phone service for over 24 hours. The response from Alaska Communications was completely unacceptable. They can't tell me when they will even be able to come out and repair it. They were supposed to forward the phone calls to another number in the meantime but never did. Now their support center is closed and I am dead in the water.

I had ACS at my old address until I went to move in the middle of September 2021. I THOUGHT transferring service was not going to be a major issue, but that is exactly what has happened. At first, I was given an installation date of December 15, 2021, three months after moving into the new location. WTF???? I work from home and MUST HAVE INTERNET to work, no exceptions. Horrible customer service this time around. Normally it’s pretty decent, so I am very disappointed. Due to an error on their end, my internet was cut off unexpectedly today. I lost an entire days worth of work because I am working from home. I spent nearly 2 hours on the phone and spoke with 4 different people. I was told my internet would be back up today and that I would receive a call when it was done. None of that was done. Was happy with the service ACS provided, but after disconnecting the service in October and still receiving charges monthly since, we contacted the customer service number today and after a long time on hold, my husband was told the information would be forwarded to the billing department. Great, thanks. This evening we get a call from a lady and what my husband hears when answered the phone was 'this is ACS'... nope. The lady was asking IS THIS ACS?
