Two months ago I contacted GCI to ask when I can get my iPhone 6 upgraded to an iPhone 8. The Tech said not til February 2018. They said another Tech forgot to add me (or something like that) to their System when I first started my contract with them in December of 2016, so I lost 2 Months and now I have to wait 2 extra months til I can upgrade. My internet service allowed Netflix streaming and online classes without buffering in Kodiak. Customer service is weak. I had trouble setting up autopay (set it up online, but it would constantly disable on its own, so payments were always late). Never willing to admit fault or credit back even though my account always showed that autopay was enabled. The service is very inconsistent and it cuts out often the only good thing is that it’s unlimited not that it does any good since it doesn’t work half the time
The tech people are nice. The internet service is beyond terrible. Just sayin'
Several problems have come up. Currently no internet working for my business, I was on hold yesterday for over an hour then when someone answered it hung up. When we transferred locations it took over three weeks for them to move the phone and internet. The phone has an audible static when making calls, I tried another handset same thing. Made the decision to transfer the business line to another provider.
Flat rate is great. Service that consistently goes out for periods with no warning and customer service lines that hang up on you before you reach someone are not so great.
