Terrible. When it works, it kind of works well but never performs like it should. I am constantly having trouble connecting to stuff and it will randomly go out a lot. If I am paying about $60 a month for this, it should be working a lot better. Another side note is that I get a warning that others on the network might be able to see what I am working on. Why am I getting this warning from a paid internet service? That is something that is a threat from public wifi and should not be a thing on a paid internet service.

Acs is a joke. They only offer Internet in specific areas, some areas that are still close by get rejected. You'd think with all the years they have done buisness in Alaska they could give more Alaskans Internet. No wonder why everyone hates this company, you suck acs

I really enjoyed our unlimited plan, but Internet has been out for four days, and now onto the 5th. I'm done waiting, switching to GCI. Not looking forward to the data caps, but at least it'll be faster than the supposed "10mb" download from ACS.

I want to like ACS. I really do. In a time when every internet provider is instituting data caps and charging highway robbery fees for going over, I respect that ACS still does unlimited. But they just can't keep the speeds up. I live in the middle of town with the fastest speed they offer and the only time I ever get anywhere near it is around 3am. During peak hours I'm lucky if I can get through a game of multi-player or a movie on Netflix without game-breaking latency and intermittent buffering. I'd switch to GCI, but I... read more

We moved into a new home. ACS scheduled to install service 26 days AFTER we moved. I called on the day and made sure they were still planning on coming to install. They told me they were not going to come because they didn't have the right equipment. They gave me no time frame as to when this would be resolved. I will be looking for service elsewhere. And, they charged me for the month without service.

ACS is terrible. Their service goes down constantly. Their customer service hours are nonexistent. Get out of the communication business if you can't keep your equipment functional.

They advertise that they serve Alaska. Talk to some customers. All ACS wants now is commercial accounts.
