We were very rushed and had a bad waiter, surprised he is in the service industry. The interaction made the dinner akward.

Food was just average. My 10 year old ordered the grilled cheese off of the kids menu and it was overdone, with the edges so hard she couldn't eat it. The shrimp cocktail appetizer was tasty, but the fried green tomatoes app was left in the fryer too long and were slightly burnt. The server was polite and attentive prior to our food arriving, but after we recieved our food we never saw her again until we got our bill. My husband and I decided to visit Alexander’s Restaurant for my birthday. He ordered lobster tails which were good. I ordered the Salmon special and did not like how it was piled onto soggy vegetables and then loaded with a cream sauce. Service was not great as we had to ask for silverware and napkins. We sat in the “porch” room which aside from seeing the lagoon, it had absolutely no ambience at all. There was not even a flower or candle on the table. Bare bones - just a table cloth. We were super excited to try this place out. We had a beautiful view which was great but the food was bland. Our waitress kept referring to me as little girl (I’m a mom with 3 kids) and then she disappeared for a long period of time.
Staff arguing with manager. Loudly storming up an down isle. Took 2 hours for 2 courses. Waitress was abrasive. Food was good.
We had a reservation and still ended up stuck in a corner in the extremely loud bar area. Service was ridiculously slow, took over an hour and a half to receive our entrees. My daughter and I both had stomach issues later. Was not a good experience at all.
