Ordered from the Early Dining menu. $20 for soup or salad and entree which sounded like a good deal. I tried the mahi mahi special. My fish was probably 3 oz and tasted like a salt shaker. The asparagus was overcooked. The risotto was tepid...as was the soup de jour which was also extremely salty. Had to ask for bread and for water. Dessert menu was unexciting.

We were looking forward to our meal at Alexander’s; however, we were disappointed. The timing of our food was great, but the food itself was mediocre. Ordered the new shrimp, scallop, and crab pasta dish and it arrived over dry and pretty tasteless. Appears to have sat under the heat lamp or in an oven waiting for the other entree to be prepared. We had been looking forward to their reopening but we left without eating. While the rest of the staff all wore masks properly, our server wore her’s down by her neck. We spoke with the man at the host stand and he said he’d mention it to her but nothing happened. Further, it took her 15 minutes to stop by our table. We had to ask to give drink orders. We came to Alexanders with reasonable expectations based on all previous reviews and local recommendations of the restaurant. I think we may have just picked a bad day when they were scheduling heavy for valentines day. we were unable to get a drink at the bar in the 25 minutes between our reservation time and seating time because the lone bartender was too busy. our drinks still took over 10 minutes once we were seated.
