we were rushed and had not finished our soup when the main meal came - they took it back and when we finally got it it was overcooked. not up to Alexanders normal quality!!!

Very disappointing. Waiter was trying very hard, but had not been trained, so timing was way off. Man in suit , a manager?, brought him our app , while the waiter was writing the order of another table, the poor waiter obviously couldn’t do 2 things at once. Why hadn’t the man in the suit found out which table the order went to, but he did know which waiter it belonged to. Food presentation was non existent. Thank you for your review, not what we strive for here at Alexander's. We work very hard at our craft and this is not a very typical review for Alexander's. We will look into the timing of the meals coming out of the kitchen and the inconsistency of the food which you were served. Air conditioning was not working Very difficult to enjoy the experirnce. Food was good; service ok, but could have used another server in our area.
Came back for dinner last night after having a great time at the Duckhorn wine dinner in April - food just as good but service last night was awful 10min wait for water - main arrived whilst we were eating our appetiser bread arrived half way through apps - not busy at all so don’t get how the service could be so off. Real shame and have now cancelled our return Weds and wouldn’t risk outside of special events again - shame as FoH lets the kitchen down based on last night
Al of my answers apply to the day we were there. My food had to be returned and replaced. I had eggs benedict, and the eggs were totally undone. They were better the second time but I didn't care for the entire dish. My wife's French toast was ok but way too sweet. The service was great. Perhaps we will give Alexander's another chance.
