We have been here many times unfortunately our most recent visit was not good.

Porch was cold and musty. Wiener schnitzel was grisly and had to send it back. Prime rib was not great. For the money you spend out, the experience should be great. Not so much at Alexander’s

Had the early bird special. Husband had salmon (asked for it to be cooked rare). I had prime rib, (asked for the end cut). Our daughter had the chicken. Lastly, one had the seafood pasta. The ONLY hot dish was the pasta. My prime rib was very rare, salmon was overcooked and the chicken was dry. No one came to check on meals. Ordered a second glass of wine, but didn’t come until the end of the meal. Dessert was peanut butter pie. That was okay at best. Angel was NOT our waitress!!! I made and confirmed my reservation through OpenTable, but the restaurant did not have my reservation on their books. Fortunately, we waited just a short time for a table to be available. I'm not sure where the problem lies, but the hostess said that they've had problems with OpenTable reservations recently.
