We recently moved from Leonard, TX, area to Dallas TX. We moved the vast majority of our stuff on a truck we rented, with labor help from an app. We left about 1/3 of our items for a following weekend. Due to major health issues (recent neruo surgeries), we decided to hire movers to finish--- All My Sons to be specific. The weekend of the move the two guys they sent did OK while we were watching and directing their every move. The WORST moving company!!! Not even one star. Do NOT use! They pack lightbulbs at the bottom of a wardrobe box with heavy things thrown in. They leave you with damages and are very unprofessional. Do Not Use them.
DO NOT USE! We had scheduled our move over a month in advance, called to confirm a few days before our move, and they cancelled the DAY OF!!! Why did they cancel? Because they’re employees had heat exhaustion. Well guess what, we live in Texas, get a new job if you can’t handle the heat. Not only did they cancel, but they let us know only an hour and 20 minutes before they were supposed to show up. The manager was also very rude and very unapologetic about the situation. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
June 4 2022 the Denton Tx location quoted $1,586.00 charged $3,100.00 They charged me more than double the estimate. We had 2 different locations the items were going to. Everything was labeled and their movers still didn't pack the truck correctly and had to unpack and repack several times which made the job take longer than it should have. Awful. NO ONE use these crooks. Told us they would be there from 11-2, showed up at 4 PM. Proceeded to take over an hour and a half to load up one apartment of boxes. They didn’t have tools to take anything apart (which I have never experienced) so they asked us “what we wanted to do about it”- my partner ended up moving our queen bed frame out to their truck BY THEMSELVES because the movers just stood there dumbfounded and watched. BEWARE! Same experience as all the other bad reviews. Jensen, the manager, is horrible. This was the worst move experience we have ever had. They charged $4700 dollars, when our quote was closer to 3K. And stretched it over 2 days instead of the 8 hours estimated. That being said, the movers themselves were great. Will, Tim, Jack, Josiah, Tony and Chaz (two crews because two days!) were all polite and nice to work with.
Recommendedmy son works for them and is a hard worker.
Horrible!! All My Sons broke our brand new TV during the move. Their claims department will only reimburse $200 of an $809.71 purchased Aug 7th. We had our TV for only a month before they ruined it! We sent in all the required documents to prove it was a new television. Apparently, they have insurance that only requires them to pay $0.60 per pound.
Absolutely TERRIBLE! SO MANY CHARGES! I was there when my inlaws where being moved and the fees were outrageous and ridiculous!!! If you don't pay, you don't get your stuff! I was angry enough for them because I HATE seeing people get taken advantage of and raped by a sub-par company.. People PLEASE read reviews first as ot seems we arent the only ones!! Also, a consumer protection complaint will be filed with the Attorney General and a complaint with the BBB. I recommend previous customers do the same as they can shut them ... read more
