This company is really a piece of work to quote a price of 100.00 an hour over the phone and have a contract for that price and tell my elderly in laws that are on a fixed income that it will be done in 3 hours and no more than 400.00 at the most but have their employee's refuse to unload them until they paid them over 1000.00 dollars. than those same employees tell them to contact the main office to see about getting a discount. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible moving company. I had a small move with furniture out of two rooms only, less than an hour. When I booked, I let the guy know that was the job. He said fine and I agreed on the price and paid a deposit. The day of the move, I wasn’t able to call back the day before to confirm the move, so I was let know the morning of that my move was not scheduled, but Doug would call me back at his convenience (even though I already paid a deposit for that day). Absolutely the worst movers I’ve ever hired, they broke my recliner. They also showed up without tools! How do you show up without any tools?!? Do not use these movers under any circumstance!!!! Zero customer service! Stay away from this service!!!!!! I’d give them ZERO stars if I could! Update: Spoke to Debora in claims... they wanted to offer me $25 for breaking the base of my recliner. If I could give less than one star I would, which is unfortunate because there was a time when I would have given this company 5 stars. (I had used them years ago and had a completely different experience). Don’t waist your time and money with these movers!!! They are not organized and they quoted $2000 or less to move my mom from Keller to Allen, TX. They are now charging over $4,000 and threatened to keep her things until she pays!!! Very unprofessional!!! Jenson, the branch manager, should be fired immediately!!
I booked my move and was quoted $450 for the move, the day of the move all my goods were packed and staged in my garage. The only item requiring packing was a glass shelf that they wrapped in a blanket and taped, charged me $4.50 in materials for that. Load time took less than 25 minutes, drive time to new address was approx 45 min, unload time less than an hour. Total bill was $629, well above what was quoted and explained. Ruined SEVERAL piece of EXPENSIVE furniture and took a gash out of one of our door frames 😡
It took 3 movers over 6 hours to move a ONE BEDROOM apartment... it was packed. All they had to do was load the boxes and furniture. There is precice, careful, and deliberate and then there is milking the fact that they charge by the hour. This very much appeared to be a case of milking the clock. There was a 20 minute discussion of the 3 movers on the best way to get the couch out of the apartment.
!!ALERT, ALERT, ALERT!! If you value your belongings, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am being billed today over $3000. 00 for repairs to my beautiful furniture. I have not gotten to our glass and wooden showcase that was shattered. This, along with one other piece, was promised to have very special packing and treatment as it is from Spain and repairs next to impossible.
