Beware of surcharges and unprofessional movers. I have used professional moving services 5 times, many across stare lines, therefore I have experience with the moving experience. I was charge 3 times my quoted rate, mind you, I had video of the lead mover on his phone throughout my move, sitting in the truck texting, in my rooms texting and multiple times to the bathroom for over 20 minutes. If I could make this NEGATIVE STARS I would. But I’m forced to give them one just to write this review about how terrible they were. We scheduled our move date over three months ago and CONFIRMED NUMEROUS times for the date and time. June 26th we waited and waited for the movers to show up. 9am rolls around and no call no movers. Absolute worst moving experience. Multiple pieces of furniture damaged. And boxes were lost. The manager is the rudest and most unprofessional individual I’ve ever come across in the service industry. Never use this service. I made that mistake and it will never happen again. I cannot fathom how little my things were cared for. I don’t know what’s worse the absurd price I paid to have my things broken or how worthless the customer service was to help my track down the personal items that were priceless to me. The WORST moving experience of my life. They sent us three guys that had never loaded a truck before. All heavy items on top, smashed the totes and boxes on bottom. Put screws of bed frame up against the bed headboard and a big hole was ripped. Horrible, a joke, the worst service when I called. Hiding behind the fact it was a different company that shipped it. Will definitely make sure everyone knows not to use them.
Don’t damage the house and furniture.
