Time starts when they arrive but doesn't account for the fact that the guys sit in there truck for 15-20 minutes before starting the job and they charge for ever 15 minutes. They tried to talk to me the whole time Instead if moving the furniture. They also asked to move my TVs without telling me there would be a fee. They got lost getting to my new house. Movers beware! I got a quote of $430 to move a few pieces of furniture (12 items) less than 10 miles, I put down the $200 deposit, so I am expecting to pay $230ish on delivery of my furniture, negative, $400! Where did the extra $200 come from?!?! Hidden fees. Apparently them using their blankets, plastic wrap and tape costs $48. 12% fuel surcharge with an hour for travel. Wish it could be zero stars. We got an offer for $40.00 to replace a dresser. We would have been better off just putting the dresser to the curb. We actually paid this company HUNDREDS of dollars to trash it for us. Unreal. Do your homework. This company is horrible.
Terrible company! Unprofessional, worst company ever, not sure how they are in business! Nothing they tell you is true, I think they just make up estimates and prices!
All My Sons charged us $400 for less than an hours worth of loading a truck. This was not the worst part. The person setting up the appointment told us we had to have the truck at our place ready to load by 10:00 a.m. or they would not agree to do the job. At noon I called to ask what time to expect them. They told me they would be there any time. Repeat scenario multiple times... They finally showed up at 7:00 p.m. I would NEVER use this company again!
I'd steer clear. Moved less than 30 minutes away and they broke my flat screen TV and a lamp. The insurance claim is a joke, they're only insured for $.60/pound/article so basically my $1,200 TV that was shattered, they offered me $200 for. I've had better experiences with no-name people off Craigslist like others have mentioned as well. Not to mention, it took quite a while to move what equaled out to be about a 1-bedroom apartment with 3 guys. No thanks.
Stay away!!! Worst moving experience ever. This company is a scam, despite their "40 years" in business. Gave me a quote of 435.00. It ended up costing 972.00. Is this legal??? Called these guys instead of a small local company for a simple in-town move. Sales guy was all over it checking everything out and confirming everything, making it sound like it was going to be very professional and a quality move experience. Move day, a young energetic crew showed up and went straight to work. No problems other then fairly soon it appeared these guys didn't really have any judgment about what was a 'good' piece of furniture vs. a cheap piece of furniture. Worst Moving Experience in my life... I wouldn't let them take my trash out after what they did to my belongings. I was quoted $139.00 per hour for 3 movers. I ended up paying $529. I moved 7.5 miles & they got lost!!! They was missing for 40 minutes. I was charged for that time!!!! How can you get lost when you have a GPS & address??? I had to file a claim against.
