NEVER HIRE THEM! They came out to give an estimate for my dad. They said $3000 to pack and move everything to Phoenix. The packers did not finish the first day. They rushed everything the second day. They did not even pack or crate the TV which ended up not working in the new location. A mirror was broken and several other items as well. The driver quit the day of the move and refused to drive to Phoenix. They said they would pay for a hotel, but that was added into the increased cost. They kept my dad's belongings ... read more
STAY as far away from this company as you can. As a retired business man, I can hardly believe these guys can stay in business. As others have stated...this is a bait and switch operation. When confronted with the bill (the truck was half unloaded) I was told to pay the "price" or the truck would not be unloaded. After arguing on the phone about the price...I was told $197.00 would be reimbursed. This is 2 weeks after the fact and still nata. They never showed!!!! They were due at 4 pm but running late...tried for 5 then 6 and a promise for 7pm. I kept texting and calling but they stopped answering the phone, This was a business move and the company was going to lock me out at 10 pm. I finally found an all night mover who sent a truck and 2 men at 9pm. NO WORD FROM ALL MY SONS. Next morning, I called and they had no idea what happened. Said they were sorry. I would not use this company ever again. Very poor communication. I was supposed to get a call 2 days prior to the move. I ended up calling them the day before to finalize the move. Day of the move, I had to keep calling for status updates since I had not heard anything. They had overbooked and I was not moved until the next day. Very poor customer service. The worst customer service of my life and I'm 71 years old. They took 9.5 hours to move my 1700 sf home, making HUGE scratches in my flooring. They didn't tell me. I noticed it. There was no "I'm sorry", only complaints about my heavy furniture and the # of boxes they needed to move. For all this, my bill was more than double the estimate ($1,569.04). Of course, I am now in the middle of the complaint process. Who knows what will happen there, if anything. We'll see.
I can't really speak to the services of this company because I luckily chose not to use them (thankfully as I learned they aren't very nice once you turn them down) Poor customer service, now i'm reading all the reviews and I feel like I dodged a bullet on this one.
Use anybody else, these guys are terrible. First problem - total bait and switch with pricing. Quoted us about $550 for about 3 hours work with a 4 man crew. They didn't tell us about their mandatory 1 hour travel time or 12% fuel surcharge. Complete bull $#!&. We didn't find out about the extra fees until the day of the move and by then it was too late to find anybody else. They will not give a solid quote only approximate number of hours and the cost per hour. (Expensive) When I pushed for an approximate number of hours the person became rude and hung up on me.
Worst moving company ever...When the guy moving our furniture was confronted about all the damage they had done all he had to say is , Well this is a 2 story house and your stuff is heavy" and the scratches in the buffet table is not from them because the mover who is obviously and expert (NOT) on furniture said the scratches were really old..Which there were no scratches prior to this company moving our furniture..Broke several items we found that they did not tell us about..And when the movers first got there said, "Tips a... read more
