I provided the necessary information regarding my warranty. They collected additional information about the problem. I was informed me that a full refund would be issued for replacement of the item. After prompted, I completed a review and said the process was quick and painless; but that was not actually the case. Since that time I still have not received any updates, information, or reimbursement of any kind. A total waste!
I got my claim but was lower than replacement value and what I paid.

You would expect them to cover the cost of the whole item if they deem it unsalvageable however that's not the case. I received only 2/3rds the value of my item based upon their "algorithm" which they refused to tell me how it works. It said nothing about this on the pamphlet they advertised or on their website. It's sneaky behavior that probably nets them a couple 100,000 annually.
I have dealt with another protection plan from a different company multiple times and they always give me the full price of the item in recognized
A $50 water distiller cost $9 premium for 2 years coverage. At 22 months it suffered an internal short and must have fried several components, because I smelled the burned electrical small and saw the lighted on-off button had melted. Tried to initiate the claim; supplied all the info. Was instructed to await a validation by their "team" Received an email to continue with the claim at a link on that email. I couldn't make my claim on the website.. I have to call 3 times customer service. It's been two weeks and I'm still waiting for the Box
No hassle. Sent in a non working versa watch and SquareTrade fixed it and sent it back.
Following email instructions, I contacted AIT on 4/20. I contacted them via phone ( spoke with Karen on 27th ) since I hadn't heard back. I was given a direct number to the shipper. Over several days, I tried in vain to reach somebody named Corey. His phone would never get answered and he never called back. I called the 18774334248 number again and spoke with Jackie on the 29th.
