I purchased a metal platform bed, it broke, was sharp and metal, I threw it out, claims said I needed pics, I didnt think about that when I tossed it, spoke to an agent, they said they would check it out, they ruled that I could have a replacement! This will encourage me to ALWAYS go with Allstate when it is available!

Long story short - I sent my phone in for an overnight repair. Days later they said they only ordered a part. A week later they didn't know where my phone was. Then they said the repair center said my phone was irreparable. They said they'd send me a replacement phone. Another week later waiting for my phone I called and had enough of the run around excuses and said I wanted a payout. Which after another 2 days it was approved. I finally got a check in the mail to buy a new phone today so I can't really complain about reliab... read more

I've had a few protection plans with Allstate, and prior before Allstate bought SquareTrade. Anytime I've needed to make a claim, I had to jump through a ton of hoops, explain my situation multiple times, tell them to review notes from prior calls, and spend an unreasonable amount of time, energy, and effort to get a claim handled. When I finally do reach someone who knows what they're doing and can handle the issue, it goes smoothly, but it does not seem like they set their agents up for success. Felt as if I was brushed off onto the actual company to fix my problem rather than the actual place that I purchased the device from. Here I am, 3 weeks later with no help, still.
