Allstate scheduled a repair on my refrigerator. I received the parts in the mail. I took off work the afternoon of the appointment. The repairman never came. I called Allstate and they tried to call the repairman. There was no answer. I was told that I would get a follow up call and a reschedule. There has been none.

I filed my claim and gave the necessary documentation of the problem. They resolved the issue and backed up my claim.
They did come thru but the first TV was cracked and not new, box was retaped and missing cardboard on top. Had to be picked up. The second TV was delivered without any notice, just showed up at 9:30 am. You could tell that the second TV was new and it works perfect, but the communication between their vendor and their customer is not very good
Was on the phone with them told them the problem, had an issue with getting a copy of th receipt got that resolved and finally got to the problem and then proceeded to go over the issue over the phone with little resolve after an hour and basically was told to fix my issue listen to to the tv with max volume. Not really a fix just a quick way to not address the problem.

My scanner started giving error messages... 'cannot communicate with the scanner' and 'cannot find the scanner'... when I tried to use it. It is a few years old, so I assumed that something was wrong with the scanner. I contacted Allstate Protection Plans; my claim was approved within a few hours. I didn't actually send the scanner in. Our T.V stopped working and we called them up, the process was pretty long but smooth though. The part that upset me is when we were presented with the option of either a giftcard/check for the value or just a replacement of the same quality and features. It was here I asked them if it would be the same brand and they assured me it would be but they told me once I picked one or the other it couldn't be changed which I did understand.
