Was reimbursed within 5 days after getting the screen replaced on my iPad.
Started out great, paid my $50 for replacement phone, received it scratched. They blamed Consumer Cell and went back and forth 3 or 4 times..neither company would take responsibility. Acted like little children. Not my fault-not my fault! So here I sit, no fault of my own, with a $1000 scratched phone for $50. Super disgusted!
Well I shipped it to SquareTrade and they have shipped it back using Fed ex however I have not received my iPad back as to date nor do I know what was repaired.

I'm never gonna buy any electronics unless it's backed by the squaretrade plan...
Very difficult and troublesome at first. Initially started warranty issue in June. Had very frustrating experience. Gave up for several months. Renewed warranty claim again after contacting Amazon and getting a phone number to call. Had to call several time but finally the last agent I spoke with was very helpful and my claim was completed. A refund was received within a few days. This process should not be so difficult....but satisfied with the speed of the refund and the assistance with the very last agent.

After spending an enormous amount of time trying to imput a receipt from an online purchase that doesn't match the required fields to file a claim, and speaking with several representatives over a period of 3 days, I was informed that the part of the product that is broken is not actually covered. This would not bother me as much if I hadn't told each representative which part I was calling about (the chargers), and then been assured that it was covered multiple times. I was able to file my claim online, get approved instantly, and was emailed a prepaid shipping label. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they no longer ship you a box, so I had to use one of my own, which is OK. I shipped it via FedEx (had to drop it off at a location). Note that they WILL reimburse you for having Fedex pick it up from your house or needing to purchase a box to ship it in. Laptop was repaired the same day it arrived and was shipped back. We were only without it for about a week.
I sent in an Apple 5 series watch to be repaired. Square Trade determined it could not be repaired and mailed me a check for the total amount I spent on the watch. I will not go purchase another Apple watch and pay for the Square Trade insurance again. Thank you for the fast response time!!!
