bad experience when claiming my guarantee of a bluray burner, they first told me that I did not have to send the product, then they sent me an email that I had to send it and of course I had no problem sending it, they sent me an email to send it by fedex which came wrong and no information was seen, after a while I spoke and they did not solve anything, I could never do anything and I kept my defective bluray and I sent a guarantee that does not work, now I prefer not to put guarantee and agree that If my product fails it i... read more

I bought a camping bed at Walmart last year. At the time of check out I was given the option to purchase a Square Trade Contract for $7.00. I bought the same bed again this year but wasn't offered the Square Trade Contract. So I called Square Trade. They quoted me $16.00. I asked if they were looking in the "Hobby" section which is where the original contract was listed. The rep said, "We don't have that section listed. The internal coordination seems to be very ineffective between different teams within square trade.

Terrible Didn't get my money back for insurance I had threw squaretrade.

SquareTrade ran me around in circles. I had to jump through a bunch of hoops over a small claim. Half the time I got someone on the phone I could not understand. After coming to a final resolution of their making, they changed it to something else two days later. I could only imagine the rip off if it was for something expensive.

Phone has no fingerprint pad. Have to put in pin every time. Process was easy. Lost all my text conversations. Note to self. no warranty next time. Freedom to upgrade and keeping old phone for reference if I need it.

Issue 1 - Agent Solved Laptop issue that no one else was able to do. Issue 2 - Dead battery. Different agent was able to remotely verify dead battery. Waiting for new battery from Amazon and will send receipt to Square Trade who will up to $50.00. BTW battery cost was $26.99.
