Worth the money to get the extra protection. The only thing was the service people on the phone seemed “put out” by doing their job, otherwise very pleased.

contacted Square Trade in December 2019 because my Samsung 65" TV purchased at Costco in Feb 2017, had a white streak at bottom of screen. They talked me through doing a diagnostic over the phone and had me take pictures to send them. They determined it was "accidental damage" that we had caused and they do not cover that damage. They offered to return a prorated amount of our extended warranty cost. Later called Samsung sent technicians out to my home; no charge for parts or labor. From the start to the completion of my claim only took a few days. That includes receiving reimbursement check because item could not be replaced equally.

The young lady I talked to was very helpful, including pointing out that I was still on the manufacturers warranty. She then gave me their number and told me to call her back if I had any problems. The manufacturer covered the product.

Terrible company. They make it easy to give them money but when the time comes for them to actually cover your TV they will make it incredibly difficult to talk to anyone and after give you the run around for a couple days they will find a way to not cover your product. Very shady company and the reason I tell people not to bother with protection plans

The Standard Plan covers mechanical and electrical failures that occur during normal use of the item. I was told that my laptop would be taking 3 to 5 business days to be fixed once it was received by you. I received a confirmation email stating that my laptop had been received on January 14. Today is February 1 and I have not heard anything regarding the status of my laptop. Needless to say I have a few concerns since the only problem with my laptop was the fact that I had numerous sticky keys on the keyboard because I spilled coffee on it. Where is my laptop?

The suitcase I bought from Amazon, after only 18 months, had serious defects. The wheels no longer rotated properly and the zipper base tore away from the inside lining. It had been used on only three trips by then. I called SquareTrade and they worked me through the claim process. I had a check to cover the purchase price within two weeks.

Every person I spoke to promised me quick resolve to the problems of my $600 Apple 4 watch. A promise of a quick resolve, Ended in my waiting over two weeks for the same watch retuned to me, supposedly with a new battery and marred finished where the watch was supposedly opened. They did refund my $ but after going on a long hiking holiday with no watch to track my exercise (the reason I purchased watch) I was not a happy camper.
