"It’s very sad that we have to use Square Trade as our warranty. I had to call and explain and go through the same process 4 X’s with CS & IT. They say they noted everything in the their sys but it was all lie my case and claim number was no where to be found with them. Same process 4x’s hours and hours on the phone. Worse support ever. "

"I purchased a Cole Reaction rolling backpack for my great nephew as a gift. After 2 months of use one of the rollers started wearing down.... and also the fabric near the zipper started to fray. I reported it to Square Trade and after many phone calls and emails I was finally reimbursed for only $99.99 of the cost f the bag.The bag cost $129.99 plus the cost of your insurance., which was $19.99. "I had a broken lens. They sold me to send to a repair depot. I sent it away (my expense) only to learn that repair costs were double the price of a new lens. They shipped it back and slapped me with a $50 estimate fee. SquareTrade refused to pay. So let's get this straight....I follow their instructions completely and was left out of pocket $50. SquareTrade is supposed to give you peace of mind, not take it away. If they had any customer service they would have fixed their mistake but they were more concerned with saving $5... read more

"I titled this the circus because of the amount of hoops one has to jump through in order to get help. I called Square Trade and I was told to contact the manufacturer. They then referred me back to ST. I had to talk to two other individuals, create an account online, and submit a picture of my receipt online. It's hard to do when the very reason you are reaching out is to repair the device. Staff at ST are very nice and seem rather genuine, but I'm still waiting to get further help from ST. "

"They sent me to a local shop who told them the phone was not fixable. They ask me to send my phone to them. they replaced the battery without doing anything else. the phone did not change the performance, it was not working. Then they told me to send it again, I received with a note saying that the phone was ok, that it passed all the checks. Well after 10hours the phone stopped again leaving me without GPS and without phone in the middle of a snow storm. Thank you! JC"

"They took over a year to try and repair my tv only to use the excuse that it had physical or accidental damage which it did not, and so they denied the claim without sending a person to my house. Only by looking at pictures. I am probably going to file a lawsuit against them. They want me to pay a certified repairman to come to my house and get a diagnostics so I may send it to them for review. They are crazy. Don’t deal with them. "SquareTrade used to be my goto service for warranty on the items I bought but after my Beats Powerbeats 2 broke down and SquareTrade making it almost impossible to repair or replace, I’ll definitely switch over to A different service. One where the company doesn’t question their customers and actually tries to work with them and their schedules. My Beats Powerbeats 2 headphones went completely dead on me. "The first time I sent my computer in, they were very prompt getting me a box & label, several days later it came back with the form inside, crumpled up & nothing had been done!
