I provided the necessary information regarding my warranty. They collected additional information about the problem. I was informed me that a full refund would be issued for replacement of the item. After prompted, I completed a review and said the process was quick and painless; but that was not actually the case. Since that time I still have not received any updates, information, or reimbursement of any kind. A total waste!

You would expect them to cover the cost of the whole item if they deem it unsalvageable however that's not the case. I received only 2/3rds the value of my item based upon their "algorithm" which they refused to tell me how it works. It said nothing about this on the pamphlet they advertised or on their website. It's sneaky behavior that probably nets them a couple 100,000 annually.

I have dealt with another protection plan from a different company multiple times and they always give me the full price of the item in recognized

A $50 water distiller cost $9 premium for 2 years coverage. At 22 months it suffered an internal short and must have fried several components, because I smelled the burned electrical small and saw the lighted on-off button had melted.
