"Took 3 days to get the box & then it was completely empty...had to take it to Office Max so they could help stuff & pack computer for return to Square Trade. I do like how Square Trade keeps in touch & the lines of communication open so we know when computer was picked up by FedEx & received in the Repair Ctr. "Called to make claim. Was told to go to a store to get fixed. Couldn't get fixed. Had to wait for box to be shipped. Send laptop to SquareTrade and received word on 4/4 that repair would be delayed & laptop would be repaired by 4/6. We called on 4/12 as we still hadn't heard anything. When we called we were told the part won't be in until 4/19. Supposedly if they couldn't fix it by a certain date, we'd get our money back for the laptop. Well, customer service said, NO! "Originally, I had to locate receipt to prove I purchased warranty, when should have been on record. Second, they where not able to repair, as expected, but shipped wrong size, via different delivery system. Had to return item, after much confusion. Now waiting for UPS to get past IL from MN - 4 days. At this rate will be a month before I get a working item that fits. Lets just say, could be better. People have been very nice and patient, but I think the over all system needs work."

"We purchased Square Trade coverage for our computers. When my husband's computer needed work, we called them. They authorized us to get it fixed locally and send them the bill. We are still waiting 4 month later for reimbursement - even after calls and emails. Don't bother with this protection! It's an oxymoron!!"

"Our son dropped phone broke screen. Square trade told us take in for repairs. The phone screen was repaired, however phone stopped working within 12 hours. Notified square trade of situation. Received reimbursement check minus deductible. Had new device in hand in two days. Did have to pay a reduced second deductible."
